My experience has been great. I have had appointments at the Downtown office 3 times and appts have been handled in a timely minor. In November I had two appointments on the same day; one at 8: 00am and the second one at 10: 00am. I arrived to find out that my 8: 00 was cancelled. They said they tried to reach me. I was prepared to wait 2 hours for my 10: 00 appt, however Rebecca, the receptionist, worked it out and I was in and out by 10: 00.yay. Rebecca made my day.)

Hey, I'm leaving this review to let you guys know that I'm reporting you to the California state board of Optometry. This is by far the worst medical professional I've ever dealt with. You do not answer your phone and your mail box is full. You charged me full price instead of running my insurance. I would like you to reach out to me to fix the issue. Thanks.

The doctor is nice but the business isn't run very well. You guys didn't run my insurance so I was charged the full amount instead of the 15$ co-pay. I tried calling several times and the voicemail box is full. I reached out to Acuity eye group and they sent an email but their billings department can't do anything. PLEASE contact me to fix the issue. Thanks!

This review is LONG overdue. I’ve been coming to Acuity Eye Group for some time now and I wouldn’t go elsewhere if they paid me. I’ve always been treated great, promptly and everyone I’ve encountered has been amazing. That says a lot for someone that is EXTREMELY picky with my doctors/eye care and purchases of prescription glasses. I tend to overthink my decisions but I can always count on the staff especially Christian (i believe that’s his name). He has so much patience and understanding and always sets me up with an amazing pair or two!
Definitely recommend this facility for your optical needs.

I am from out of town and was staying in Los Angeles for 2 weeks on a business trip & of course I forgot my contacts! I was unable to pick up a pair anywhere because my prescription had expired. Fortunately, I was recommended here and was able to book a same day appointment & walked out with a new pair of contacts/prescription. Everyone from the front desk to the optician were friendly and great.

I never leave reviews, but really felt like people need to be warned about this office. This has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I've had two appointments at this location and trying to get in touch with this office has been horrendous. It is almost as if they don't want to help their patients. Dr. Chea is really nice, but by accepting so many appointments per day without hiring adequate staff, she has created an exhausting and frustrating patient experience. I have called 5 times a day for the last week and left one message per day. After about the 20th call (no exaggeration), someone picked up and had no idea I had been waiting on hold or left any messages. I've also gone into the office during business hours to pick up my contacts and no one was there, and this was not during their lunch break. I am begging anyone reading these reviews to look elsewhere for your eye doctor! It is not worth the pain and suffering! I will absolutely be moving to a new practice!

Dr. Chea is kind, knowledgeable, thorough, and has an excellent bedside manner. She did a comprehensive eye exam and took the time to explain every step. Truly appreciate her and definitely will be back!

Don’t go to this place. Read the reviews before you go there. I went there with a referral for prescription but the doctor didn’t sign the prescription for contacts if I didn’t pay $130. My insurance were paying them but still didn’t get my prescription. This place doesn’t care your eye health. They try to rob you.

Honestly, Dr. Chea was great but administratively this place is a mess. Clearly every patient is subjected to long waiting times, if you drive there it’s a tough place to find parking (or pay to park in their incredibly expensive lot only to sit in their waiting room as your parking charges increase), and worst of all they are impossible to contact. I ordered contact lenses after my appointment and they have billed me for them, but I never actually got the contact lenses. It’s been months and they’ve been unreachable, which I believe technically is fraud but really is more likely an indication of how incompetently this office is run.

What a worthless place to visit for diagnosis eyes. A horrible, incompetent, and worthless place where patient care doesn’t matter. I visited to this place in June 2022, and they told me that they were going to apply for pair of glasses through my insurance, and since then till Jan 2023, I didn't hear anything from them. I decided to call them to get an idea. I spoke with 5 different people on 5 different days and no one had any clues, and all of them promised to call back. Guess what happened, no one did. Finally, today when I called again and someone kindly inform me that they don't have records of what happened after my visit. Stay away from this place if you are looking for a place that cares about you.

My specialist takes the time to listen to me and answers questions that I have. The entire staff takes the time to listen and answer questions accordingly.
