Admiral Baker Golf Course reviews
17 Thank you John for making our Event a memorable.
Even though it was a tight squeeze and considering us having to move venues, but you worked with us and that is so appreciated.
I recommend this venue and the Team goes above and beyond.
Sincerest thanks.

Love the courses and club house. The courses are well maintained, and the food and service are good.
Big fan of the south course, haven’t tried north yet. I’m a noob and it was challenging but not so much that it isn’t fun. Fairways seem fairly tight though. Not too much room to miss either direction.
If you're able to use MWR facilities I highly recommend this golf course. Great greens, and the restaurant at Admiral Baker is outstanding. Great place to cool down after a long game of golf.
Good condition no hacks or bad attitude from anyone here.great course a hidden gem north course is better but south is still great
Beautiful golf course and banquet reception hall. Perfect setting for a wedding or conference.
After heavy rains the course was wet, soggy, but playable. Greens are in very good shape. Over a bargain for the price.
Great golfing day! Friendly staff decent price on drinks. South course is great for walking.
This park has a lot to offer. RV camping, swimming pool, basketball court, baseball diamond, beach volleyball court, multiple playgrounds, plenty of seating for outdoor events, restrooms, plenty of parking, and very well maintained! Great place to bring the family out to have a good time or even host a party. Would definitely go again!
Very nice place, clean and grounds are well maintained. Lots of playgrounds and pool for the kids. Golf course and recreational areas to keep you busy.
The guys in the pro shop weren’t very helpful for our small tournament group, but Manny (starter) more than made up for it with his professionalism. Thank you Manny!
The course is in great shape. They do have some sprinklers going around the course to keep it in such good shape, but it’s nice to see the effort being made.
Often the front tees are neglected at courses in San Diego, but at Admiral Baker North they were well kept and provided a very fair distance in relation to the middle (white) and back (blue) tees. This course is well worth the price.
Had a great time. Customer service was outstanding. Everyone was happy To be helpful. We played the south course and found it short yet challenging. Tight fairways on the back was fun and the greens were all in great shape. I plan to play the north course next time I'm in town. Thank you for your service.
Clubhouse smells of sewerage. Online booking has been offline for months (or more) making bookings difficult for primary patrons (military personnel). South Course has large bare patches in fairways which were supposed to have been addressed last year but weren't. Although a military MWR facility, the course is now open to the public which puts the Fed in competition with public and private courses. If none of this bothers you, stick your head back in the sand and join the Democrats in November.
Great course and pace of play was outstanding. Played on Sunday morning in a little under 4 hours! Course was in excellent condition and a pleasure to play!
This is a GREAT local San Diego golf course for the value! Baker North is usually the best out of the 2 courses available at this location and is a good test for all abilities. The tee boxes are good, the fairways usually have plenty of grass and doesn't dry out too much except for a couple of trouble holes and the greens are excellent! The South is shorter but a good practice and confidence builder course. Pace of play can get a little slow at times but that's everywhere in SoCal these days. The restaurant here is also really good. Chicken wings are awesome! Highly recommended and I'll be back next week!
From North Carolina and played this with some downtime on a Sunday afternoon. Had a great time and for the value it’s a terrific course.
Played the north course which has some really fun holes and views. The front was in great condition and the back was good enough for the value. We also moved pretty quickly - played 18 in about 3.45.
Would recommend and would love to have this back home!
