Calling them for last 4 days.no one answer the call.put u on hold forever if u wanna cancel the service.answer right away when u get new service

Hmm, so I have to give at least 1-star, so be it. We signed up with Protection One over 12 years ago, and Protection One was the best, but at some point ADT became involved through a purchase, and service has done nothing but decline. Every technical issue goes through 8 iterations to resolve, every phone call is like pulling teeth dealing with people that sound like they are working from home, and every call to my original sales rep is like, man I'm so sorry and I understand, I hear it from everyone.

So, today we decided to downsize a bit and relinquish one of our systems, and was met with the worst service and attempted extortion ever, AND, I was not even cancelling the whole account, just one suite. Really, a customer for 12+ years that you inherited from Protection One, and you want to try to charge me for my monthly payments for the remainder of the "auto renewal" term (11 months), then for the remained of the leased equipment, (11 months) or the labor for ADT to unscrew it from the wall, minimum $280+, but they won't allow me to unscrew it and return it to their offices, and I probably paid for the 12+ year old equipment after the first 5-yr agreement. I'm already preparing for small claims here now, let's get it on! It'll cost you more for the company to fight it than just saying, Hey, thanks for the years of profit you already gave us, and thanks for still remaining a customer, we value you! Nope, they are not trained in how to handle customers of value. So be it.

I would give ZERO or minus stars if possible! They are the WORST service people ever. We just purchased a home security service, and they even coudln't get it installed right from the beginning! But the worst part of this horrible guys is their "customer survice" if you can even call them as that. They literally hung up on our phone call, blaming us not calling right person, never made any note from what we said, and just HORRIBLE ATTITUDE! If we ever gonna do any home security again, we NEVER gonna use them.

The system worked only for A Day. Really?
Then we've been dealing with their super rude people to repeat the system issue they literally couldn't fix. Thier technician was the only one who's nice (but couldn't fix).

They don't even record the issues so yes, you will need to talk your problem again and again and AGAIN while they will for sure ignore that.

On top of that, they even couldn't fix their own system nor install it.

I would never recommend these guys. Just turn and look somebody else NOT ADT.

I contacted the online chat service to help troubleshoot an error message. The first agent, Angel, closed the chat on me while I was looking for my account info. The second agent, Catherine, was not able to help me because I couldn't find my account number or recall the 5-letter code. You might regroup on your policy. The agent was able to establish who I am and the address of the service. I wasn't asking you to break into the house. I am sitting in the house. I cannot arm the system because of this. The issue is a 'fault chime' on one of the doors. I just need someone to explain how to reset it. I was also told you cannot send someone out to the house with me providing the 5-letter code. Actually, this is pretty ridiculous.

Have had several issues requiring tech support but each technician has been proficient, friendly, and attentive. Their support has been a great customer experience.

I would give zero stars if I could. I recently purchased a home with ADT system installed. Called this office and was transferred to a central sales line. They quoted my a $40/month special for monitoring or $50/month with a camera and said they would send a technician to check the system and reactivate. Instead they sent a sales person who tried to upsell me a new system and said they could not honor the price quoted on the phone. I have been trying for over a week to get to someone who can reactivate the system and give me what was quoted. I would recommend going with anyone other than ADT.

I own multiple businesses, all of which are with ATD.
Now opening a new business in Sacramento I met with MR. Dante Martinez. (Business Sales Representative)
Easily the rudest ATD employee I've ever encountered.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time. Not only is he rude, he's also inconsiderate and not professional.

None of my businesses have ever cost the price Mr. Martinez was giving me.
I will now gladly canceling my other businesses with ATD, and going else where.

Hello. We were lucky to have had Ted Richard, a Master Service Technician, at our home on August 27. He was extremely patient with us.
Although he was here for a different need, Ted was kind enough to help get us through the process of setting up the App on my phone. There was a problem (for us) with the password.and he
very calmly worked it out. We are most grateful.

Thank you to Victor Recinos for the expanding our system to include more video. He was efficient and took the time to make sure I knew how to access the expanded functionality.
I also want to offer my sincerest thanks for helping us with an unrelated issue which involved other sensors on the system.

Three years ago due to break-ins we needed a Security System. Our Church had been robbed three times and I just purchased a new home right by downtown Placerville and needed a home system. A friend of mine helped me get into a system with a company he was working at and it turned out to be a nightmare. Met with Sean Woods who was our ADT consultant and he has served us incredibly well and just today I got my home system installed and the technician was fabulous. He was clean and thoughtful and helped me with all the apps set ups which was so different from the technician that was contracted with the other company. I am really grateful to be with ADT.

I had problems with your Security Services last week by first sending me an email that my payment was past due. I was put on hold to be transferred to the department that and I was disconnected. I called back and was transferred to the department that deals with the problem, then I had to prove a payment was made, which took valuable time away from me. Then I decided I wanted to cancel and was transferred to another department and placed on hold for 20 minutes. Then I was offered a reduced payment for my difficulty and was offered a (3) month payment of $19.99 for September, October, November, then my monthly payment would be $54.99, all this to commit to (28) months of continued service. As of today 26 July 2021 I have yet to see this agreement in writing.
ADT Security Services has terrible customer service and one department can't handle everything. I was was on the phone with you for almost (3) hours and still don't know if I'll be contacted.

They won't allow us to cancel the services. Every time we try and cancel they end up hanging up on us. They transferred our calls 4 times in one call. They hangup our call over and over again. It's such an abuse to us as clients not to be able to start and end a service when we want it. No business should do that to you. At the end of the day we are who keeps them in business.respect us.

Worst customer service! Once they have your credit card information, they could care less about you as a customer. We had a sensor go bad and called to schedule an appointment for repair. The gentleman who came out had no idea what to do, as he was a contracted employee with ADT. They rescheduled us with another appointment, with a window from 8 to 12. At 12 o’clock no one had called or showed up for the appointment. We called ADT to find out they were running behind and could be there more so around 2 o’clock. Let me add, we took the day off work for this appointment and couldn’t even get a phone call of them running late after sitting around all day for our second appointment. We have since been waiting for a phone call back from management, three days later and still have not received a phone call. We have asked for the location of the service center so that we can drive down there to resolve the issues, they will not provide a local address of the ADT business location. As the customer we sit here with an alarm that does not work, missed work days for appointments that they didn’t show up to, and no return phone calls. Pretty much we have no one to turn to, and ADT keeps charging for service. We recommend using a local alarm company. A company that will value you as a customer, stand behind their products, and appreciate your business. We now have to dispute our credit card charges and file a lawsuit, as they have voided their contract by supplying a faulty alarm system that does not work. We made a big mistake using ADT for our alarm system.

EASY, FAST, AND FRIENDLY. THE INSTALLER MADE SURE I COULD WORK EVERYTHING. FIXED AN ISSUE WITH MY MODEM, AND INSTEAD OF REPROGRAMMING PARTS, HE JUST GAVE ME NEW ONES. MY PAST EXPERIENCE WITH INSTALLERS WAS NOT GREAT, BUT THE LAST INSTALLER RAISED THE BAR FOR EVERYONE!

Raymond came over a couple of days ago and helped my mom and I upgrade our security system he was super helpful on-time knowledgeable and very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone getting a home security system. ADT is the only Home security company I trust.

I thought I was buying a system from ADT-however it was another company using ADT and I can't get any of these entities to answer questions and resolve problems. I would urge anyone, especially a Senor Citizen to never purchase and ADT product unless you confirm absolutely that that is who you are dealing with and your are not burdened with a company like SafeStreets who, together with ADT use each other to make excuses for the deficiencies in their products and services.

A ADT and AT&T representative came to our door. They are like a 3rd party. They told us our bill was going go be 50.00 cheaper and this was going go becon one bill. A month later 60.00 was charged to my bank account. On top of that our camera was not recording. We called ADT and they told us they couldn't help us. Theb we were transferred to a 3rd party. They took our number waited 3 days never called back. We called back two more times and never returned our call. ADT was able to get a tech to look at our camera. The tech verified our camera was not working and he entered that in the notes. After he left the camera stopped recording. We have been charged for the past 3 month with the camera not working. This kinda service is horrible!
