We recently had the pleasure of working with Rob, Gary and Howard at ADU Homes. To say the least, ADU Homes EXCEEDED our expectations in every aspect of the project. From the very beginning, their commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, providing great value, ensuring efficiency, and helping with the permit approval process was evident. We couldn't be happier with the results.

One of the most notable aspects of my experience was the contractor's unparalleled customer service. They were attentive, responsive, and genuinely cared about our vision for the ADU. Navigating the permit approval process can be a daunting task, but this contractor made it a breeze. For example, we encountered an issue with the County initially requiring us to install a separate sewage line to the main line instead of tapping into our existing line. This would have required us to incur significant additional costs. ADU Homes went above and beyond by not accepting that requirement from the County and went back to the County numerous times to try and convince them that our intent for the ADU was NOT to sub-divide the lot but simply to move in our parents. They had extensive knowledge and experience with the local regulations and requirements, and helped educate the County officials with our intent, eventually convincing the County that the project could tap into our existing sewage line! Their expertise in this area was invaluable and greatly simplified the overall process.

As a family, we decided to convert the detached garage to our parent's home in Los Angeles. I did some research on ADU's and different companies and decided to go with ADU Homes. Robert and Gary demonstrated exceptional expertise and attention to detail. Their communication and transparency throughout the project made me feel informed and involved every step of the way. We decided to rent out the ADU to a long term tenant. It has been over a year with this tenant and I have not had any issues with the construction. Robert still periodically checks on us and I truly feel that if I had any concerns in the future, they would be taken care of without any issues. Rob, Gary and Howard were an incredible team and they completed our ADU with a professional attitude and the project turned out to be a beautiful and fully functional Additional Dwelling Unit with one bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathroom and storage room. The contract price included everything but the appliances. They did not charge us any extra than the contract price. They use a good app for paying the invoices and communicating with us during the project. I had my main house renovated prior to the ADU and that contractor told me what the contract price for the ADU $$$$, we had to scramble to find another contractor and luckily we found ADU Homes Inc. We highly recommend them to anyone who is contemplating adding an ADU, they are professionals, very knowledgeable and know how to construct a ADU from foundation to finishing touches. They were on site everyday to oversee the construction. The contractor that did our main house was never onsite only subcontractors that they never supervised. ADU homes will be there on site to make sure the subcontractors do the work professionally and on time.

ADU Homes is an outstanding home designer and builder. From beginning to end Gary and Robert proved exceptional on all levels. We live on a half acre in Reseda and wanted to build a house for our son, his wife, and two children. From design, to survey; from excavation, and all the way to completion ADU Homes surpassed the care, quality, and craftmanship we'd hoped for. Each crew was responsive and timely with our concerns. Reassuringly, the owners of ADU Homes, Gary and Robert, frequently were on sight to manage the development, and, at times, adding creative suggestions for improvements. I'd be surprised if you can find a better outfit for building an ADU.

I had a very good experience with ADU Homes. They built a 400sf small home in my backyard for my mom, who is older. They were able to make some adjustments to their standard design to suit our particular preferences, which I appreciated. They did a good job, managed the site well, and we are very happy with the final product.
