We had the best experience with ADU West Coast.

We wanted to convert our garage into an ADU for additional rental income to support our family. But we didn't know where to start. Throughout doing research, I noticed Cameron's informative videos regarding ADU's. His knowledge of ADU's helped our family better understand how it works. So, we decided to reach out! Cameron set up an in-person consultation.

Throughout our consultation, Cameron took the time to really understand our needs and why we were building the ADU. Also, that we had a tight budget. He took this all into consideration and gave us a lot of great advice and information.

We received our quote and it was right in our budget! We signed the contract and from there ADU West Coast did the rest! It was great because our busy family didn't have the time to manage a project like this. They took care of the plans, drawings, permits, talking with the city, construction etc. All we needed to do was pay the fees and pick the designs.

Our project did take a long-time to complete due to the city being backed up on approving permits and inspection and we had some bumps in the road (as you can expect with any project). Nevertheless, ADU West Coast did as much as they could to push the city for us and reassure our confidence in the process.

The team at ADU West Coast always made themselves available for us to ask any question big or small (just a text or phone call away). And we asked A LOT of questions lol.

Cameron and his crew at ADU West Coast are professional and do good work. We have referred clients to them that tell me they have received good service. I haven't started the process of my ADU yet, but plan to get started when my tenant moves out. ADU West Coast did do a project for my business partner. They converted a garage to a one bedroom apartment. They also converted a portion of the main house into a studio, known as a Jr. ADU. I watched the progress of the build and was impressed by their detail and speed. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

When I decided to build an ADU, I researched a group of 4 different contractors. Cameron spent the most time and was the best source of information out of the contractors that I spoke with. Ultimately, I chose to work with ADU West Coast because they could do the entire process from design, to plans, to entitlements, to construction. I liked the idea of working with one team. They built a 350 sf Jr ADU studio and a 1-bedroom garage conversion ADU. The entire project from start to finish took about 12 months, that seems to be normal turnaround time, considering city and utility delays. They have a solid team, and I will use them again for my next project.

ADU West Coast just completed our garage to ADU conversion that included an extension to the existing garage. They helped us through the entire project start to finish, including ADU design, submitting plans to city, and execution of build and were amenable to our customization requests and modifications during the project. Due to supply chain issues and other unforeseen circumstances there were some delays to project completion (as there always are), but they were good about communicating throughout so we knew what was happening and why. We collected a handful of estimates prior to starting the project and theirs was definitely the best value we found, resulting ADU is beautiful and in the end we paid what was estimated with minimal overages (only when we chose higher end fixtures as was explained up front). Final payment was as expected and we never felt "nickel-and-dimed" or that there were a bunch of hidden costs when working with them. Overall positive experience.
