Advanced Car Stereo

Recently I purchased my first car and decided to try to install a radio myself with some friends. After doing so I was under the impression that I messed up the radio wiring system. I brought my car in to see if they could install it for me. The first person I was greeted by was Chantelle. She was very helpful and helped me understand what I had done and what needs to be done. Later on Sam notified me that the car I had was very tricky with the system and assured that he'd get it up and going. Sam comes back and explains everything and in the end I had my radio and sound. Chantelle's estimate of the car being in and out was spot on despite the the challenges my car had. I got in and everything was amazing. Thank you Sam, thank you Chantelle, and thanks to everyone at Advanced Car Stereo. I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Make sure to keep your recipt as they don't claim it upon install as they will not warranty a faulty install without it and cannot look it up. To much money spent to not be able to look up my recipt.

This shop goes above and beyond to help me and give the best service possible. I’ve called them multiple times to fix my stereo for years, and on multiple occasions when I’m in a pinch and need my music for a trip on my boat they always fix it the day of due to my bad planning. This last time I pulled in at 5: 30 PM in a pinch to get my stereo fixed and they fixed it on the spot within 30 minutes so I can enjoy my havasu trip with music. I 100% recommend this shop for any of your stereo service. They definitely put the customer first, unlike other shops that I have called before. I will be coming here always for any service in any of my vehicles.

Larry and Al go above and beyond to make sure the job is done correctly. They have done the systems on two of my vehicles. Highly recommend.

Went in and spoke to the manager, Al. I wanted a good sounding system with component speakers, rear speakers, amp, subwoofer and all hooked up to existing rooftop dvd player. Al immediately picked out all the components for me and worked with me on the price. I have to tell you that I could not be more happier than I am. Al, his brother, the equipment that he picked out for me and the rest of the staff did an Amazing job. I am so very pleased and amazed with the quality and awesome sound of the equipment (Kicker) and the job that they performed. I would recommend Advanced Car Stereo to everyone that wants an excellent experience with an awesome and professional staff that knows their stuff. The equipment at the store is great quality and there on hand. Al and staff are very kind, pleasant and really have whatever you need. Thanks Al for your help.

This is a great location. BUT THE LOCATION IN MONTCLAIR is a SCAM!
Do not take your hard earned money there.
ThT guy Dennis should be fired. I’ve never met a bigger scumbag than that guy. He will try to sale you things he knows you don’t need while up charging the product. If you have any common since go else where.

Super friendly and knowledgeable. I bought 2 kicker subs and they threw in a wire kit for free.love this place I would give the 30 stars if I could. I regret ever going to the shop in MONTCLAIR.the manger Dennis tried to pull a bait and switch scam by telling me product was there when I get there it wasn’t.then told me he had better product come to find out it was about $600 less he pocketed the remaining amount until I caught him and had to call the cops to get my refund.never go there. COME HERE GREAT PEOPLE!

Very legit shop.shantill was very helpful. I don’t know much about stereos and they educated me unlike the shop in Montclair
. Real scum bags. DENNIS and the Arab tried to scam me by getting me approved for credit then over charging me the product in an attempt to steal the deposit plus some of the credit.cops where called and I was refunded my money.the bank opened an investigation into DENNIS and his shady practices don’t go there.come here!

Super scammers at that location. I don’t like pulling the race card but DENNIS the manager gives off racist vibes.i was yelled at by some lil lady at the front desk for wanting a refund I don’t know her name I will just call her Beatle juice cause that’s exactly who she looks like.real trashy plus never go here or get ripped off.come to this location they are honest and will treat you with respect

Great customer service shantel helped me out and every time I come she always is so happy to help and very friendly! Fast service every time I’m in and out love the shop and the people.

They scammed me in 2017 by telling me that I can pay $220 for a $900 sound system through snap finance which no one explained to me about as a 17 year old kid.

Now snap is coming after me with debt collectors over that which then i have to pay $1250 in total for it.

I’m not paying a cent further and this business is a total scam for taking advantage of me as a minor. Terrible place.

These guys LITERALLY rock! I had problems after someone replaced my battery incorrectly in my Slingshot. But they took the time to get it ALL back to working condition! Can't drive a Slingshot without music! Thank you again so much! I will be back if I get the side by side

My sub got disconnected and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. I came in today and Steve helped me out. He was so nice and accommodating. He fixed it so fast and he didn’t charge me anything because they have a warranty on their work. He fastened my sub down so now it won’t move. I’m so grateful to these guys. Anytime I have a problem I know they can solve it.

Do not bring your vehicle here! If I could give them ZERO stars I would. They sold me a defective pioneer stereo. After about a week or 2 of using it the screen would go blank and they tried to talk me into purchasing an ungraded one. I’ve brought my car in multiple times for them to fix issues that NEVER got resolved.

The manager AL is very professional and polite; has over 20 + plus years in the Audio industry and beyond. His staff are very friendly and courteous, they don't mind spending time with you talking and explaining and going over options for your vehicle. They have every option you need from power wire to amps, subs, enclosers, marine, sxs, etc.
Don't let the other audio shops bully you and force you to buy something you don't need!

Such great employees from the techs to the front counter people. Diffently will be back. They go way beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Very knowledgeable. Al was amazing, and his female counter person is too.

Just got my car back after installing a viper alarm at Advanced Stereo. I brought them my parts and after the initial install, It didn’t work with the oem key fob as I indicated I wanted up front. I needed to come back after a few days to have another module they recommended, for that feature to be added. When I brought the car back, everything worked exactly as I expected. Steven understood alarm systems well and took the time to explain some things I had questions about. I felt bad that he had to take things apart a few times to get everything exactly how I liked it with the wiring above the dash etc but he had a good attitude the whole time. They never charged me for any additional money either despite the revisions needed either! I respect this business’ ethics for doing this because I was clear when asking if my parts would work together, had a budget and how I expected the alarm to behave up front. Some other good things to point out about this company was that the installer went above and beyond to route a few other wires I wanted (per my request) through the firewall for me. I’m planning to install other basic electronics myself which I needed those wires for. I will be checking the internal alarm wiring when doing those projects later. Based on the work I’ve seen so far (business professionalism, panel removal and reassembly, functionality of alarm, etc) I will 100% use them again for potentially complicated electronics or a custom stereo system. They told me I had a lifetime warranty on the work too. I would recommend to others in Murrieta and neighboring areas. Thank you.

Best customer service around, been having issues mounting my head unit so that it’s flush with my bevel. Other audio stores have turned me down after it was installed. After advanced auto got me a new mount, my head unit still wasn’t as flush after installed. They kept my truck and got someone to try and custom fit it. The amount of labor put into my truck for the original price was a lot. They work out deals with you to get your moneys worth. They want you to leave happy which I did. I highly recommend anyone to use them for your audio needs. I will continue to come back.
