Advanced Car Stereo

Just came from the shop and was very happy with customer service as well as labor and overall finish. Bought a kicker and a box and let me cut a deal to save some money. I was having problems with my high low connection from a previous shop using cheap products, so I upgraded on my own terms and again they cut my a deal. I recommend they to other customers and will definitely go back for more work

Came into advanced car stereo sho today and a guy named Adam helped me, honestly one of the best guys to deal with in the shop. He’s great hell help you out and make sure you leave with a nice sound system. So if you ever need help with anything go to Adam and if you need any car stereo, tires, alarm systems, lights, LITERALLY ANYTHING FOR YOUR CAR come down to advanced stereo and come see adam!

Ray and Bobby are awesome when to Advanced stero in Montclair, and was well received. Their custom service was back up by knowledge of the best equipment that would give my car it unique sound. I have a 2012 Acura TSX and the sounds are sick, crispy clear and thanks to Ray and Bobby. I recommend seeking them when in need of sounds

Didn't feel valued as a customer. Called in to get my car checked. I simply just wanted to know a diagnosis of my stereo issues. I was told the process would be free to get my stereo system checked out. I proceeded to walk into the store and explained what I called about. Right off the get go I was told I have to pay a some amount even though I came in for a simple diagnostic. After a man I am assuming the manager asks me that they can take a look at the stereo. I was told it wasn't gonna take alot of time. Having someone at least telling a rough eta would have been helpful for I didn't expect to wait in the store for over. An hour. They went through my car. Telling me the audio system is defective. I never asked for the solution to be fixed. I just want a diagnosis. So now I have no audio at all. The only upside about this experience is that their audio personnel that was explaining to me the issue was being clear on exactly what the problem was. It would have been nice to know that you guys were trying to solve the issue before destroying the wiring. That would have made my experience less bad. You guys aren't bad people but man being more communicative to the customer on what's happening with your vehicle would have made my experience a lot better. IDK how you guys are 4 stars but if you guys need better communication and making the customer feel valued. Never have I ever written bad review but you guys really made my experience so sour this was necessary.

I came here and bought a stereo. They gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse. They have a big selection of radios and speakers and installed it the same day. I recommend them for your stereo needs. Ray and Adam helped me out. They were great and helpful.

Very good and speedy service. My issue was no sound coming out of my car’s speakers at all. Turns out the amp needed to be replaced. I didn’t need anything fancy, so they provided me one for a solid $150. And while I was there, I had a touch screen system installed in my car too and it’s honestly very nice and convenient to have. It only took about 80 minutes for the installation to be completed, which I think is pretty fast. I want to thank Ray, the employee here for helping me out with my problem and answering all the questions I had. It’s very much appreciated.

Today they put in a back up camera/rear view mirror in my 2011 Toytota Venza.the install couldn't had been more perfect! Adam & the staff were just great. I would recommend them to anyone in need of quality work!

What a great shopping experience at this stereo shop.right around montclair plaza needed a new stereo and sound system for my work truck.i got the best deals combo on stereo and sound and once they finished the job the experience of driving my car now is beyond words.great quality installation work hands down and customer service top notch

I wanted to wait to leave an accurate review and hear it is. I’m paying $2500 for a kit and Initially the excitement over clouded the problems it seems I’ve already got one possibly two speakers out and hanging wires from the install near my pedals which is extremely inconvenient also where they installed the new radio the compartment wasn’t put back correctly and makes the car look less then appealing I was told it would take 4-6 hrs to do a professional install and I got the opposite of a pro install and it took longer n got mad when I called to check nd of course it’s under warranty for the price so I can take it in to get looked at but that’s also extremely inconvenient seeing as the system has only been installed about two months jus make sure u do ur research and talk to one of the older gentleman and not the young guys begging for sales

Adam was GREAT, super helpful from the moment I walked in and he get me set right! I definitely recommend coming here for all your audio needs!
