I was able to get an appointment quickly, was able to do the appointment online in a video conference. My doctor was very kind and feel confident she will be able to help me.

Disappointing. Customer service at Advanced Psychiatry & Associates is extremely poor and is in need for a huge improvement. Lacks professionalism. This establishment is good for giving people who are in need of care, "The Run Around. " Very nonchalant, lacking compassion or the desire to assist customers; and leaving patients on hold for extended amounts of time (at least 10 minutes or more), only to transfer you to another personnel representative that repeats it. I think they probably get a kick out of doing it to folks. Scheduling an appointment is the most annoying thing ever for the caller on the other end of the phone line, as it too drawn out and prolonged.

When you finally have your appointment (phone appt.), you may be diagnosed, and are advised of a follow up appointment at a rate if your choosing (no date received) and does not happen even after calling and leaving voice messages with care provider. Months later and still nothing, no callback.

Need better care, not this.

They dont call back and they give you the run around when trying to find care. No one I've spoken to here has seemed at all invested in the patients, and they just straight up lie to you about what "work" they're doing for you. If you can find ANY other provider, do that instead.

Called mid-day to schedule an appointment and did not get a call back.
Will not call again.

I was told to call if I was having issues or difficulties with my medications. I did, but no one ever returned my calls. I left 4 messages. The only time I have received a call back was to collect money or schedule another appointment. When I finally had my 1st therapy appt after 5 weeks of waiting, her video equipment was broken. 0 stars if possible.

For someone struggles with mental illness, I find it very anxiety provoking to have to remind them several times to send the right prescription to the right pharmacy. I feel that the psychiatrist rushed me off the phone and did not understand the importance that both medications need to be sent to my house via the correct pharmacy. My mother was billed for the meds, and I don’t know how they got her info. I’m frustrated by the lack or accessibility and punctuality when it comes to mental health meds that’s something you can really not go without once you’re taking.

I was wary based on reviews, but they’ve handled my needs around being diagnosed and medicated for ADHD very well.

A stunning lack of trauma informed approach, awareness of the gravity of mental illness and human decency.
My experience: APA reaching out once via phone to require PRE PAYMENT and during working hours, the day before an appointment and without any other contact made, message left or receipt confirmed the appointment was canceled. Such an abrupt and callous practice is damaging to those with mental health issues-the very population APA claims to serve.
Best avoided.

Truly unprofessional and under trained staff. Working with them for a year has been worse for my mental health. Very happy I found a more caring office that not only listens, but works towards my goals and provides feedback.

Love Lisa Taylor but that's about it. I had to wait 4 weeks for an appointment and another 3 weeks for my next appointment. They were supposed to call to schedule it and never did. They finally told me they had no openings. For a person who has already started therapy? Seriously? I am now waiting 2 months for my next appointment because they are booked? This is not therapy. And now they are telling me I have a bill due and I must pay that before they will renew my meds or schedule an appointment to renew. I have never received a bill, so I'm pretty upset. You do not treat people in therapy this way.

I’m no doctor, but calling prospective patients who may be depressed to schedule their appointment without giving them any info on the therapy, the therapist, or the costs - and then repeatedly putting the prospective patients on hold when you call them - seems to be a horrible medical practice.

Ironically, while this business will efficiently bill out its own time at a premium, it has little value for the time of its patients.

I scheduled an appointment to talk to a doctor. I had to wait two weeks for the appointment. They messed up the time and accidently scheduled another person for my appointment. Advanced Psychiatry made me reschedule my appointment to a later date after I waited two weeks for my appointment. I really needed this appointment now. You are making me wait longer and this is creating an emergency situation.

Utterly disgusting. They DO NOT care about patients or patient needs. The most unprofessional medical office I have dealt with and when you have a concern their response is "sorry for the inconvenience, but that is the best I can do". Ridiculous!
