The staff at the desk of ER department is short and rude. The fact that people have to spend most of the day sitting and waiting. I guess should be thankful we're allowed to use the bathroom. Ask for a cup of water to take your scheduled pills and you will be told there is nowhere to get water. And was told nothing works in the hospital and if there is time you might might get some kind of drink but I'm still waiting

Went to the ER today with digestive distress, abdominal pain, and dehydration at the advice of an urgent care doc. After two hours all they had done was take my vitals and told me to sit down. And I wasn't alone - a lot of people had been waiting and were getting increasingly angry; apparently there was only one ER doc on duty - at 9am. I was having a lot of stomach cramps and they were refusing to give me water even though I was severely dehydrated, so I went to the receptionist, Angie, and told her I was going to leave. She got nasty and told me I'd be billed anyway even though I hadn't been seen. Not a word about asking why I was leaving or if I was ok to drive. In fact, the entire staff at reception that day was rude to almost everyone they "helped, " and it was hard to watch. These jaded, bitter people have no business working in healthcare. Truly a prime example of everything wrong with American healthcare now: money-focused and uncaring.

I don't care if I'm dying: I won't be going here again, and I will warn off everyone I know.

My husband went to the ER with severe abdominal pain and nausea but there was no doctor available to treat him for over an hour. Seems to me an emergency room should ALWAYS have a physician available. Thank God it wasn't a heart attack. Geez!

I suspect that the ER is reasonably responsive. They made erroneous diagnoses in my case, but did finally pursue further testing, and moved me into Intensive care when they finally stumbled across the truth. ICU has the most skilled nursing staff at this hospital, but the regular hospital is worthless. Try and get to another facility. What the regular hospital calls an RN is a person who has not a speck of kindness or care and little if any skill. Many Lodi residents donated many millions of dollars to this institution only to be treated with total disrespect as it was practically handed to Adventist Health for nothing. Lodi has been badly treated by Kamala Harris, then California's Attorney General, when she gave the hospital worth $100 Million away for free to this religious group, and other than the Director of Nursing who has had the job for 30 years, all executives must be Adventist to be hired and retained. Despicable discrimination that only harms patients.

The phlebotomist in the emergency room walked in with gloves. He only asked my last name, for a transfusion work up. He asked me twice to leave without my specimens labeled. I have not once seen him change his gloves, which disguised me with him touching everything, putting his hands in his pocket, touching the computer, and all kinds of things…. Then palpating my vein and drawing my blood.

Writing this from the waiting room as I’ve been sitting here for TWO HOURS waiting for discharge papers for a minor concussion. Only reason I came was because my work needed clearance papers and I was told by urgent care the “don’t have the necessary equipment to diagnose a concussion. ” I tried to ask my doctor how long it would take after an hour she said “the nurse will bring them. ” Asked the nurse and was told “the doctor hasn’t posted them yet for me to bring them to you. ” How long before it’s acceptable for me to just get up and leave? Cause at this rate I don’t think I’ll ever get those discharge papers.

Facts: Saturday September 2,2023
After asking staff how long a "Drip" procedure would take for my husband; I was quickly escorted off Lodi Memorial hospital property by Lodi police department officers. Fraudulent accusations of hindering my husband's emergency room healthcare needs was the "crime". Disrespectful staff continued to rudely asked my lucid husband questions; & reference me as a "GIRL"_friend.

I just went here to the emergency room for my 6 month old son. He has bacterial infection and his eyes and sinus infection. During our visit we encountered a very rude and aggressive charge nurse because my other two minor children were in the waiting room with me. There was no one in the waiting room except for us. This man comes and tells me they can’t stay in and he doesn’t care where they go. Who says this to children or about children. Their minors! Then when I told him I will not send my minor children outside or in the car alone he called the police on me. The police came and apologized for this man’s behavior and the waste of a call. The doctor who seen my baby apologized for this charge nurse behavior and told my family it was ok that my minors stay with me and in the waiting room. This man was some type of Asian and was very rude. Very discriminating. No remorse for my sick baby or anything that my family was going through at 1AM! He made my family feel uncomfortable and disgusting. I delivered my baby here and everything and this is how this horrible charge nurse treated my family. His name is STEPHAN V. Pronounced Steven! Please watch out for him and his disgusting attitude and people skills.

I will NEVER AGAIN GO to this Er! Sent me home without even talking to me, said they had Real emergencies come in. Nurse and Doctor rudest people I’ve ever had to deal with. Will never recommend Dr. John Robert to ANYONE! Stay away from this hospital if you actually need care
