Adventist Health Sonora reviews
15Everyone tries to make an appointment pleasant so I did like that. I needed to go, it wasn't that I wanted to. With that it was nice to interact with those I met.
Just got home from approximately 6 days in the hospital at Adventist health in Sonora please take a moment to thank all of your staff from the doctors the nurses CNAs everyone for your attention the courteousness the smiles I got every morning afternoon and evening couldn't ask for better truly thank you again Paul. If I have to spend another holiday for example New Year's or God forbid another Christmas in the hospital my choice would be Sonora Adventist health hospital.
It took a long time to even be seen then when I was seen I felt like it was rushed because of how busy they were. Now it’s the next day and I’m still in pain because they said they could not give me nothing for the pain they could only give me something there.my charts are on Files I go to the hospital through Dr.booth who is on vacation, I feel like they could’ve done better. Now I have to pay $1600 for comfort for one day and now I’m going to have to go somewhere else
Seen Dr Zamarra and he gave me the results of my month long heart monitor. He gave a prescription that he explained what it was for and have another appt the end of Jan.
Nurse triage says to my face “according to the window staff you are not priority”.
Window with 0 medical training.
The Adventist team in the ER was efficient and friendly. They took really good care of me and made sure I had everything I needed throughout the hours I was there.
I was in and out in two hours. I’ve never had this kind experience in an er anywhere. Everyone I dealt with was kind and respectful. I’ll never fear the er again.
Went in for scheduled Blood test. I like the improved pull number verses volunteer log in. Was surprised there were no screeners. Health facility should have shared with us about the changes at the entrance. Play a short audio loop with brief instructions as motion is detected. Wear a mask, sanitize hands.
Great care by a very professional staff! Everyone from physicians to house keeping staff were helpful and friendly!
They discriminate on the patient's size and weight, my son went in for hernia surgery and they prepped him then when the surgeon arrived she said he is too big for this hospital He had to go to the valley to get this emergency surgery. If he was too big why did they prep him? Someone is lying.
I recently had a reason to visit this place personally for a high pulse rate and flutter. They did good getting started right on tests, EKG chest xrays, and finally lab. With an IV going lots of hydration but no way to get rid of it. I was all connected with wires and hoses, so I flagged the doctor and he brought a urinate bottle. I filled halfway. 5 liters. No one came back but wife stopped by and she emptied it and gave it back. I used it two more times now a liter and no one came back. I have been 6 hours so far. Another doctor came in and explained the lab work and so on. Then he was supposed to call in a prescription but the next day when I went to the pharmacy I found out he didn’t. So hopefully I won’t need anything until I can locate a cardiologist to take me and do a follow up. I also handed him my full bottle. They seem understaffed and just don’t have time for everyone.
With a recent visit they are requesting a new review. I went in with a high heart rate and they jumped right on it. Did bloodwork, urine sample, and chest xrays. The staff was friendly and stayed on top of my situation. There was some confusion getting prescriptions sent in which resulted in me having to return to the pharmacy the next morning, 100 mile round trip.
I just had an echocardiogram and the lady was very nice and it seemed like she was doing a good job.
Dr Peter Oliver’s staff went far above the call of duty to accommodate me. They ran over to another building to pick up a hernia belt for me. I was very amazed by that. Adventist Health Sonora has always been a good experience for me. I’m proactive in my healthcare, and they see that and they help me with this, that’s teamwork.
On Dec 27,22 at 4 am, I was taken care by, ER team they’ve a very good service mind, quick response to patient, good cooperative with ER van, Doctor Robert and RN Andria they have a good service mind, clearly communicate what it needs to be done.
My appointment was on time, sign in was prompt, detailed instructions were given, the staff and technician was courteous and professional.
Doctor Amy Buckowski was a GREAT Doctor. I was very impressed by her work. I was glad that she fixed me up. Thank you!
I was treated very professional and the technician who performed my test was extremely nice and helpful!
