Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley reviews
16It was a pleasant experience I didn’t have to wait to long to be seen and the staff were very nice and friendly
Short staffed 8 hours to be seen for chemical eye burn. Staff was caring and er Dr was great once they finally saw me. Need more staff for sure.
Worst care so far since the building went up. If I never have to go there again it will be to soon.
I had a medical emergency and chose to go to Adventist Health. We had the best care I have ever had. Everyone was compassionate and very experienced. So great full that they are in our town.
I highly recommend them.
Super mellow experience! The ultrasound tech said she had 18 years experience and the way she was able to break down what she was seeing in the images as she was taking them made my experience less stressful and an actual enjoyable experience.
Thank you
This beautiful new hospital is tragically understaffed and mismanaged. The staff seems nice enough, but they are not able to manage the workload effectively and seem worn out/unmotivated. Some people in the waiting room had been waiting for over 10 hours to be seen (the national average wait is 1.5 hours). The hospital was built to accommodate much higher demands, yet is being operated like a small town urgent care from the 90s. The staff rarely visited the waiting room, so patients were often concerned they had been forgotten. When staff were able to visit the waiting room, patients requests for a glass of water or a blanket would go unfulfilled for hours, if at all. When you’re immobilize in pain and unsure of how long you will be waiting, a glass of water should be available to you in a modern American hospital. This is unfortunately the state of healthcare in California where costs are high, waits are excruciatingly long, and services are scarce.
Pleasnt staff, quick with treatmeant and help. Very informative. Clean over all would definetly reccommend this er to others.
The lead nurse was a brilliant communicator. He addressed all of us in the lobby to let us know what our anticipated wait time would be and was very accessible for an extra clarification in our case.
As always everyone was very nice and personable. The technicians in both the imaging department an phlebotomy create a soothing atmosphere, at a time when a person may be feeling a bit stressed. Thank you.
4 hours, no treatment or diagnostics. Finally just left. Paid my $75 copay to sit in waiting room for 4 hours. I'll be headed to Bakersfield next time I have an emergency.
Thank you for helping me with my issue's. Everyone is professional. And I appreciate all the help I received.
I was amazed at the fantastic care I got at your hospital. I was there for four nights and had didn't have one complain! EVERYONE went out of there way to make a bad situation as comfortable as possible. I give you all a AAA+, MANY THANKS, LINDA MCDONALD
Staff was excellent. They were able to rapidly take care of my emergency situation which could have gotten worse. I was lucky it didn't. They took me back within about 2 minutes. I had two different nurses and doctors due to shift change. All were excellent. They got my situation under control and my discharge went quickly. All meds were called into the pharmacy quickly. Overall, it took about 3 hours or so, but most of that was due to getting my situation under control.
The doctor and both nurses who tended to our needs were friendly and informative. They took care of my mother in a professional and courtious manner.
Service was very slow the night we visited. My nurse was great and I loved her. The doctor was very nice. Security guard was very rude and immature.
