Adventures 4 Kidz reviews
15My 7 yr son attended paddle boarding camp with them. His first time. Camp instructors were so good. Encouraging and caring. He was excited to go to the camp everyday. And learned safety protocols and techniques. We will be going next summer again.
Great way to get kids involved with paddle boarding. My daughter has done it with Mike’s for the last 2 summers. And she enjoyed the camp.
This time is a bit different, no circle time before or After the paddling. So it’s not as easy to meet new friends. And my daughter commented that the instructors are different this time, less funny and less involved.
My 6 year old had a great time here this year. The staff is friendly, the camp size is great.
I don’t write reviews often, but I really want to share this five-star review for the stand-up paddleboard summer camp by Adventures 4 Kidz. It was an absolute delight for my child, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
First and foremost, the camp's staff exceeded all expectations. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and dedicated to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of every camper. Another aspect that stood out was the camp's dedication to providing a fun and educational experience. The instructors not only taught stand-up paddleboarding skills but also instilled a love and appreciation for nature and outdoor activities. It was incredible to witness my child's growth and development in both physical and mental aspects.
I highly recommend this camp to parents looking for a fun, educational, and memorable summer camp experience for their children.
This is one of the camps my child wants to attend every summer. She has a blast every session she goes. I know sometimes the summer is grey and cold but don't worry, they provide wetsuits for the kids. Just be sure to bring some warm clothes to change into after taking the wetsuit off. The staff actively monitor the water and weather and they will plan activities and paddles based on the water conditions. That can be anything from paddling to the Hornet, SUP yoga to SUP Olympics. Last by not least, all the instructors are super nice and wonderful people.
My 12-year old had a wonderful time in the 1/2 day camp! He was a little unsure as to whether he'd enjoy so much paddling, and nervous to go without friends there, but the experience was an A+!
My 12 yo had a great time at paddle boarding camp. She got to spend a lot of time on the water while on a very chill schedule. She was super happy to go every morning and was grinning at pick up time. The camp seemed very well organized and we even got photos of the kiddos on the water at the end of the week.
My 9 year old had a really great time. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this summer camp if you're kid (s) like the water. The owner was exceptionally down to earth and really cool. We will definitely be back next summer!
Victoria and her team are amazing. Our girls have done several summers of paddling camp and always have a great experience.
Great fun for my kid. Kept him active and engaged, and left him enthusiastic about standup paddle board.
I worked with Victoria in outdoor adventure guiding with kids and college students. Facing the challenges of nature, as huge opportunities for growth and learning, we have to put our lives in each others' hands. I always felt 100% safe with her and had 100% faith she had my back. And she was always smiling, laughing, cracking jokes, cooking up delicious, nutritious meals, and making everything a fun time. I don't have kids of my own, but if I did, I would definitely send them to Adventures 4 Kidz.
Big fan of Victoria Anweiler's kids programs and travel adventures! Through activities with her, my family has learned so much about water safety and skills, the natural environment (in SF Bay and beyond), leadership and teamwork, and the magic of travel. Victoria has years of experience in the outdoor adventure field and she helps kids realize the potential in themselves and others. Kids who might start a camp nervous about water or athletic ability are supported with building confidence and meeting challenges. At the end, they're not only accomplished paddlers but young people who have gained lifelong skills for working with others. I highly recommend Adventures 4 Kidz and I'm slightly jealous of my kid, since there wasn't anything like this when I was his age!
Great camp for children. Very professional staff, they take safety very seriously. Great team building activities, fun packed days.
Victoria is not only an amazingly experienced paddler (class 5 whitewater kayaker, whitewater SUP, kitesurfer to name only a very few), she builds safety behind every adventure with every detail and with client ultimate enjoyment in mind (she was herself acting as safety kitesurfer for our downwind SUP trip in Baja in addition to overseeing the tour). Her boundless enthusiasm and energy surrounds her whether teaching, leading, or just hanging out. Absolutely 10 stars out of 5!
