Unlike the previous review, which doesn’t seem to believe in empirical evidence, science, or the well being of others - I was happy to see this place adhere to strict guidelines and make sure that the safety of their guests and staff come first.

Their staff were very friendly and informed. They covered medical history prior to any procedure. They thoroughly explained how they intend to use Botox and listened to my concerns of what I wanted to fix. They give you options, without pushing anything on you.

Very happy with the Botox results and overall visit. Will come again.

I absolutely loved my first injectable experience at AP Med Spa. Aleysa, RN was extremely knowledgeable, professional & friendly! The results turned out beautiful & I could not be happier!

I called to make an appointment and asked what kind of accommodations they make (as required by LAW) for people with medical exemptions that cannot wear masks. I was happy to wait outside until my room was ready where I take off the mask anyway but I was told that they do not honor medical exemptions. This is discrimination. They cannot make policies that violate state and federal laws. Yes, they are privately owned but they are open to the public as a public accommodation, and laws are enforced to protect human God-given rights. Guidelines are not above the law. They are recommendations. Even in the mandate which is not to be confused with the law (because governors do not make laws and the health dept.or CDC most certainly do not make laws either) people who are medically unable to wear a mask are exempt.
And it’s sad that they are in the medical field and not aware of all the dangers associated with prolonged mask use. Masks do NOT stop or slow the spread of viruses. Masks are worn in the medical field to keep bacteria out of open wounds and that is ALL. And scientific data even proves that is up for debate. It’s a false sense of security that is making people more sick. They’re causing bacterial respiratory infections among a myriad of other issues. We have two airways; our mouth and nose! How could anyone in their right mind think it’s sensible to cover those airways and restrict oxygen. We’re constantly breathing out toxins, cause our bodies are amazing self-detoxifying machines (when given the right conditions), and a mask is a perfect dark moist breeding ground for bacteria to multiply and then you breathe it back in. This is not rocket science, this is common sense which is obviously not so common anymore. Maybe that’s because hypoxia (lack of oxygen) also kills brain cells. Also, if people really believe in their masks WHY do I have to be wearing one for theirs to work? And if they regurgitate the illogical response that they’ve been programmed to respond with, “I’m wearing a mask for you, and you’re wearing one for me” then maybe they can just double up and wear two and then they won’t have to expect other people to wear their fear. We’re being manipulated into disconnecting from the truth that our bodies are intelligent healing machines, they’re ALWAYS at work. Our immune systems are designed to protect us. We should be focusing on things to strengthen our immune system, not weaken it by restricting our airways and breathing in the bacteria and harmful particles from the masks. Don’t you agree a smile can make all the difference? And now we don’t see those anymore. We’re disconnecting from ourselves and each other. The best medicine will always be laughter, sunshine, nature, movement, organic fruits & vegetables, and BREATHING. And your business is perpetuating this fear-mongering and heading us straight to a communist society.
What right does this business have to require me to take on a medical intervention without examining that I am capable of undergoing such? I’ll happily remove my comment if you can supply me with any scientific data showing the efficacy of masks stopping or slowing the spread of viruses. However, I will still be filing a civil claim for discrimination. This all comes down to a lack of education, that’s why I will be sending plenty of literature on the unlawful orders and the (in) efficacy of masks. I’ll be sending a more formal letter to put your business on notice as well as sending a copy to the attorney general and DFPI.

I have to add, the two receptionists that I spoke with were both lovely and I wish the outcome had gone in a different direction.

Trust your face for fillers and Botox to no one but Stacy. She does magic and it is never overdone. I recommend her and her spa to everyone.

I had been thinking about getting Botox on my forehead for several years because it looked 20 years older than the rest of my face. I was referred to AP by a trusted friend, so I decided to give it a go. I was super nervous, for some reason, and my Nurse was sooooo helpful and skilled. She has 20 years experience and gave me the full run down. It didn't hurt and was surprisingly easy. She told me it takes several days to see results. The only side effect (I think) was that I felt tired for a few days. I'm on day 5 and there's AT LEAST 85% improvement! It's unbelievably fantastic. The pricing was totally reasonable to the point that I can actually afford to do this 2-3 times a year. I'm definitely hooked. Oh and if you're worried about being expressionless, don't. I'm super expressive when I talk and my face fully moves 10 Stars for AP.

I love AP med spa and my nurse Amber! She is a sweetheart and is so considerate. I don't trust anyone else to do laser hair removal for me. I have been burned with lasers at other places before and have gotten subpar results. This facility is so pretty, very clean and sanitary. The nurses are brutally honest with you and will never "sell you" on anything you don't need. I trust AP Med Spa and Amber 100% to take a great care of me and will never go anywhere else!

My first experience here was very positive. I saw Amber and she was very nice and explained everything to me in great detail. I felt fully informed and comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend this spa.

Beautiful facility in Encinitas, conveniently located with parking. Amber provided my services. She was knowledgeable, able to answer all my questions, deft with her hands & has the most skill with a needle that I have experienced. Kudos Amber!

Stacy and staff are phenomenal! I had my first IPL procedure yesterday afternoon, and can not wait for the final results. When dealing with Stacy, you know you are getting top of the line service and knowledge. She has the ability to come across as one of your girlfriends, while at the same time maintaining a very professional approach, explaining all the steps during the procedure as well as post. I can't say enough good things about Aesthetically Pleasing Med Spa.
