AFC Urgent Care Fresno CA

Went in on the 4th of July for a sliced finger to make sure I didn't need stitched. The lady in the front helped me get started with the paper work. But the MA that took my vitals was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Then the Doctor came in and she was very calming. She fixed up my finger within 5 minutes and the other assistant was a nice young man put a splint on it. Great staff will recommend to family and friends.

The doctor misdiagnosed me and it took a nurse practitioner to accurately diagnose me. I don’t remember the doctors name but he was an Asian doctor but he gets a 1 star. The nurse got me the antibiotics that I needed and gave me good tips to help me. She 100% needs a raise been there 3x in 3 days and I feel she’s the best worker there. 5+ stars for her 100%. If I get that doctor I will now be requesting her instead. Overall besides him the building is nice and they get you in and out fairly quick.

I’ve come to AFC UC three times in the last year or so and I will recommend this facility to everyone because the staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If I could make AFC UC my PCP I would!

It’s honestly always such a caring environment here, we’ve never had any issues with any staff being rude or any of that. They’re also pretty quick in getting you taken care of so I would definitely recommend if you’re in search of an Urgent care. I would like to specifically shout out Nurse Jordan, there was a time where I felt like I was always in here with my youngest and he does NOT like doctor visits but Jordan was always the most patient and kind towards any situation and with getting my little one calm enough to cooperate.

The staff is really kind and welcoming. They're very efficient, and the wait times aren't bad at all. This is definitely my first choice urgent care.

Genni is so polite and very helpful! AFC is very clean and very organized. They are so fast as well! Would highly recommend AFC!

They were so friendly, made me feel welcomed, everyone there did! I had a bad allergic reaction and they took care of me smooth and quick!

So I went in a few months ago, because my tonsils were swollen, and had a possible ear infection and our providers don’t have appts available any time soon. And my daughter was sick as well with a congestion and possibly her tonsils looked swollen as well. The assistant who checks temperatures, weight, ect keeps being making comments about my daughter and making me feel uncomfortable. Even after I explained that she is 2.5 yrs old, autistic, non verbal, and doesn’t follow instructions and will possibly not let her check her her blood pressure. She kept making remarks about my daughter and making faces because my daughter was all over the place and I told her she’s just curious. Well my daughter kept trying to touch the light switch and she said, “Oh your a menace”. I just looked at her in disbelief of everything she was saying because I have had nothing but good experiences in other places. She kept telling my daughter no even though I told her I would handle her the situation and her safety. Do not tell someone else’s child no, especially when she wasn’t grabbing anything other then the light switch. My baby was already irritable from feeling sick. I didn’t even know how to feel other then wanting to cry. Then the provider comes in and also really rude. He says that my tonsils are fine even though they are extremely swollen and says it common. Didn’t even want to check my daughter, said it was common to be sick and without even checking her he says she probably has allergies. I told him if my provider and her pediatrician had appointments we would not be here. I went in finally to our providers and we in fact both had strep throat and ear infections. I will never come back here, the quality of service, knowledge and wanting to provide medical care is very poor. Do not come here unless you want to be mistreated and your children disrespected. I thought long and hard if I wanted to tell what happened here, but I decided to do so maybe will help anyone not have to go through this.

Best doctor my 2 year old has been too. So patient and gains his trust before trying to check him out.

I had an amazing experience. Came in and was treated very kindly and quickly by Genni in the front. I was taken to the back by Rosa who took my vitals and led me to the room all the while making feel at ease. Then i was seen by Kendall. She made me feel comfortable, heard, and was able to answer all my questions. She is amazing!
I cant say anything but good things about this Fresno office. Great job!

My visit was very pleasant fast and easy. Staff were nice and kind super helpful and friendly overall I was happy and would recommend to family and friends

I haven't been seen by the doctor yet, but the girls at the front, Bionce and Dora, were super sweet and helpful, as well as being knowledgeable about their job. The medical assistant that brought me back was super professional and so far, the wait time hasn't been bad at all. They also pre vital which aids with efficient patient flow.

Martha made my experience so much better and less stressful because she had great customer service and empathy. Thanks Martha

The staff here, both the clinical and the clerical, are top notch. Each member was polite and professional. The waiting room, restroom and procedure areas were spotless as well. I am a senior citizen with a bit of a hearing problem when anyone speaks softly. I shared that with Tiffanie front office staff and I was very pleased how helpful all the staff are there. First, I called and was given directions over the phone by Tiffanie, a very pleasant front office staff person. From there everyone from the assistant who takes vitals to the PA all were kind and helpful and very professional. I want to thank them because it warms my heart to know the medical staff there on W Shaw Ave in Fresno are caring and kind.

Absolute joke wasted my day, sought out clinic that could do x-rays, I am a paramedic, I sufferer a dog bite, his rear teeth smashed my finger (my dog it was an accident), made appointment in the AM, soonest I could be seen was 415 pm. Show up and the xray tech is leaving at 415. Not an apology or anything just the receptionist behind the counter said I can come back tomorrow which I am sure I would then be charged for a second appointment, don't advertise what you have sometimes. Thanks for wasting my time

Very helpful, respectfully asked the right questions. Rosa had a positive attitude. Doctor was great! I highly recommend. Doctor took time out to talk with me.

This was the first time I been at this urgent care. The girl at the front desk was super sweet and friendly and my nurse Rosa was pretty sweet and friendly and caring.
