Gave Mexican Delights has a simple menu for $13 you can choose from a burrito, bowl, 3 street tacos (Corn or Flour tortillas), Nachos or a Taco salad. With your choice of 7 meats carne asada, carnitas, chicken, barbacoa, fried fish, veggie and sautéed shrimp extra $1. Been craving a carne asada burrito and the lady that took my order was kind enough to fulfill my request of adding cilantro and onions directly in my burrito. The only down side was, the filling was extremely wet which if I didn't eat it right away it would be soggy and disappointing. I took the chance, sat down and ate some of it right away. I am glad I did because along with the salsas and a squirt of lemon the burrito was delicious. Because the carne asada probably isn't grilled and put in a sauce to keep it from drying up I would suggest getting a burrito bowl or nachos. Plan to eat it in the food court so its hot. Sorry no fridges or microwaves in the hotel rooms.

My burrito was not good. Do NOT get a chicken burrito with mexican rice and refried beans. Maybe try a different combination because those flavors were gross. The chicken has a weird flavor. Its really soft and stewed like. My fault for assuming it would be standard grilled chicken. Welp…never again.

The meat taste good but if you name it street tacos please make them like in Mexico. I wanted onions and cilantro instead they put on them yellow cheese, lettuce and pico dr gallo. The salsas need some work also the staff is very nice and friendly.

I wasn’t even going to waste my time but I think they need to improve in a lot of ways. I waited 30 minutes for a simple shrimp burrito that ended up being a fish burrito I seriously didn’t even care because I wasn’t going to wait another half an hour for them to fix my order, cashier was not helpful she kept getting complaints from other customers and she didn’t even try to help, the cook had to come out and talk to the customers, I wasn’t happy at all and 2 people for such busy environment it is not suitable. Just one more thing I will not eat here again.

I don't know how it's possible, but somehow any hint of flavor has been completely removed from the burrito recipes.

! MY FRIEND SAID TO ME ABOUT THE BURRITOS: "OMG- THEY ARE TO DIE FOR! PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS LINED UP AT AGAVE TO ESPECIALLY GET A BURRITO! AND ALL THE FOOD IS BETTER THAN 'MI MADRE' MADE, AND SHE WAS ONE OF THE BEST COOKS IN GUADALAJARA! " WELL I DONT EAT TO MUCH MEXICAN, I LIKE IT VERY MUCH, BUT I ORDER ALL MY BURRITOS, TACOS, QUESADILLAS, + MORE, JUST PLAIN, WITH NO GARNISH, + I LIKE CHEESE + RICE ADDED TO MY BURRITOS, I ADD THE SMOOTH SALSA + HOT SAUCE MYSELF. I LOVED THE BURRITOS ALSO! BUT MY BUDDY IS THE EXPERT, + WHEN HE TALKS FOOD, FRIENDS LISTEN, THANKS TO RICARDO FOR A STRAIGHT UP OPINION ON THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD HE'S EVER HAD! (HIS EYES WATERED UP WHEN HE WAS DESCRIBING HIS EXPERIENCE, SO THAT SHOULD INDICATE THE ENORMOUS SATISFACTION HE DERIVED FROM THE AGAVE RESTAURANT AT PECHANGA RESORT + CASINO FOOD WALK!)
IT WARRANTS A SPECIAL VISIT, SHOULD YOU BE A CONNISSEUR OR LOVER OF FINE MEXICAN FOOD! ALL THE COOKS + SERVERS ARE THERE TO PLEASE YOU IN EVERY WAY, WITH SMILING FACES, AND ENJOY ANSWERING ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. SO ASK AWAY!
IT IS "OMG, THAT GOOD! " GOOD LUCK + GOD BLESS YOU. JIM***†.

Some nourishment in between the penny slot play

After hours of physically demanding button-pushing on Pechanga's battery of slot machines, we needed rest & something in our tummies to gather a second wind. Looking not to spend very much, even though I did win money to cover lunch, we spied the offerings at Pechanga's food court.

Chinese food a la Hong Kong Express? - naw
Pizza & pasta? - maybe
All-American food? - naw
Fried chicken? - possibly
Café? - no
Mexican food? - sure, why not?

Agave Mexican Delights offers made to order Mexican food, including nachos, burritos, fajitas and other favorites. After a quick glance, I went with a carne asada fajita plate, with 2 corn tortillas & choice of black beans.

A little under $9, the carne asada fajita plate proved to be a decent meal. The portions were good, and while not extraordinary, I found my order to be the best bet (pun intended) compared to the other food court options. I filled up for not a lot, raring for more hot loose slot action.

Seating is inside the, you guessed it, food court, with tables & a few booths. Service was good, as I was given more plastic cups, per request, for the salsa bar.

Undecided between fried chicken or Mexican food, I was happy with choosing Agave Mexican Delights. I believed they have the most bang for the buck amongst the food court options, and the food is a tad bit healthier, IMHO. Being a captive audience, we're stuck with whatever's available in the casino, but for looking to not spend too much, Agave Mexican Delights did the trick for me.

BTW, I played penny slots with 20 lines, which yours truly bringing home the motherlode of a hefty $40 ;p Cha-Ching!

Pro-Tip - Agave nectar is higher in fructose than high fructose corn syrup, causing inflammation & fat storage. Real maple syrup & raw honey are better sugar sources.
