The Agave Trail is a great trail to walk on Alcatraz Island and it is only open seasonally during the winter months. It offers great views of the historical building on the island as well as fantastic views of the San Francisco skyline, SF Bay, and the Bay Bridge.

So beautiful in December! The agave are almost prehistoric how large they are!

I spent a lot of time looking at the city with these two crazy brothers John and Clarence here. I miss the Agave Trail.

An excellent way to head back to the dock. Great views of the city, lots of interesting agave plants, and the chance to get down near the water. It made for an excellent last stop before heading back to San Francisco.
