Whenever my co-worker & I are in the area, we don't hesitate to pull over for lunch and grab a bite to eat from their deli. Our go-to is their Chicken Chipotle sandwich on a wheat roll. They have plenty to choose from, and what's nice is that after you're meal you feel pretty satisfied and ultimately happy.

Highly recommend you give this place a try. I know I'll be coming back!

Great sandwiches to get to take for hitting the beach. So here before or after to load up for your beach day or recover after a long day of fun in the sun and waves

Go all the way in the back for delicious sandwiches fresh from the deli.

Right in the way to the beach, a great stop to gather some last minute snacks and a sandwich.

OMG! I a hot pastrami on a roll, regular size. I only wanted pastrami, mustard, pickles and swiss cheese. It was SO good and big enough that I got 2 meals out of it. The staff very friendly and helpful. It was exactly as I ordered it and the price was more than fair. If your in the area and hungry, have this near the top of you list of places to eat. They also have a nice outside seating area if you want or need to eat there!

Thank you for not only superior customer service, but absolutely amazing sandwiches. I recently placed an order for 19 custom sandwiches for my company and the deli employees made it a very smooth and easy process. They took great care of me and made sure everything was done to perfection. My Co-workers LOVED the sandwiches and asked if I can order from here twice a month.

It's a pretty standard and small convenience shop. However, the deli inside is fantastic. Decently priced, large, tasty sandwiches. First time there I got the pastrami and it was very good and filling. I plan to go there more in the future.

Hours: M-F 7a-8/9p. S 8-9. Sun 9-6.

Location: Inside the Agoura Hills Liqour Store.
Off the NW plaza on Kanan/101 Fwy.
The SW and SE corners is just dirt.
Parking: Huge strip mall w/ plenty spots + handicap.

Food Genre/Specialty: Sandwiches, lunch and commercialized side potato/mac salads.

Foods: I have been coming here since the late 90s & have samples a variety. They use Boar's Head meats. Boar Head is the best deli quality from the commercialized/national brands available in my opinion. Boars Head offers a consistent brand, not the most affordable, since I can remember. The sandwiches can be made at home since none of the ingredients are special, customized or home-made from what I am aware of but there is something special about Agoura Hills Liquor Sto Deli that makes it addictively satisfying.

Here are my customizations:

Mortadella & Pepperjack w/ Rye. This is my go to. Prefer no mayo since the ham in itself w/ the olives and seasoning is already soaked with salt/sodium. Splash a hint of mustard, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Then boom. When feeling that pickled undertone then slap some of that peppercinis on top.

Ham & Swiss w/ French Roll. This is a standard go to when Mortadella is N/A. I prefer my ham & chs w/ light lettuce, light mayo, (honey/spicy) mustard, and onions. They offer several Ham option & my typical is the sweeted honey ham. My brother loves the black forest ham so that option is awesome sauce too.

Pastrami (hot) & Swiss on French Roll. Mustard & Pickles only. Good, hearty, hefty meal for the cold winter days.

Corned Beef (Hot) & Muenster on French Roll. Yes, give it a shot. That soft Muenster adds a sharp layer w/ out the stark cheesy tones on the tongue that doesn't mesh well w/ seasoned corned beef. Hint of mustard, and onions on a cool day to keep you full for a good 6-8 hours.

Meatball (Hot) & Provolone on French Roll. That melty cheesy pizza in a sub form only needs tomatos. If your a bonafide fatty like I used to be then that means you have some crushed pepper or parmesean in your car next to the other condiment essentials that we save from our Pizza Runs. Sprinkle that on & you have a killer sub. For whatever reason, the dominoes parmesean and yoshinoya crushed peppers work best for me =)

Tuna/Egg Salad (cold) w/ no cheese on Wheat. When feeling to eat healthier or cleaner even though these subs are guazed in mayo. These cold subs are preferable for brunch (b4 11am) meals on these hot summer days. I don't add no condiment and add a little bit of lettuce. The pickled flavors are overwhelming since they are added to the mix already & tomatoes just dont vibe well in my humble opinion.

Salami/Capocolla (cold). These meats were too salty for me so it's been almost 20 years since I tried them.

Roast Beef. Haven't tried yet. I had Boar Head roast beef before, but, I'm too brainwashed by Arbys and the emotional connection Arbys, my late father & I have together.

Turkey. They have a lot of options, but, Turkey is meant for Thanksgiving. I will leave it at that.

Chicken. Havent attempted.

So here is my brief rundown. Hope this is helpful and eat safely my friends.

Anyplace I can eat a good sub/lunch/dinner & be given an option to buy a Cigar & Ice Cold Colt 45 in the same location will be my on my favorite list.
