Aikido & Healing Arts Center of Roseville reviews
5My son loves the family nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays because he says the people are nice and encouraging, especially Sensei Kevin and Troy who are incredibly supportive of our son and whole family. The space they create there is so positive and welcoming; we always feel good when we attend.
Beautiful space. Beautiful people. Truly a family atmosphere filled with acceptance, love and patience. If you are looking for a community this is your place.
I needed to find exercise that *meant something* and wasn’t just going to the gym. I’m inspired and excited to go to class every time. Every person is super nice and welcoming and willing to help new people learn. Come learn with us!
Was time to get back in to martial arts after I realized how much I enjoyed it as a child. Looked into Aikido, a few options in the Sacramento area. This dojo was the first to get back to me and from the first contact it was like I was home. Fantastic people, INCREDIBLE senseis and top notch seminars. Was a little concerned about handling the training after 40 plus years away from it but from day one they were understanding, patient and always very positive! There was always a way to do everything I wanted.
Kevin Sensei has literally built the building to create a dojo unlike anything I've seen, with a keen eye on caring for the students so they get everything they need, to great friendship and comradery, I can't imagine being anywhere else. Definitely a place I call home. Highly recommend for any age.
Met a wonderful group of people who are passionate about aikido and really dedicate to the practice. I love the harmonious vibe in the dojo and all the students treating each other equally no matter the gender, age, level or experience. Kevin sensei is absolutely patient and loving to share his knowledge. He always does his demonstration in different angles to make sure everyone can understand and see the movement clear. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to start their martialart journey!
