She always makes me feel super comfortable, goes over things very thoroughly and never rushes me. She’s so kind and makes me feel at ease. If you’re looking for a doctor who really seems to care, Dr. Lopes is the one!

Dr. Amiee Lopes DO was horrible. Honestly I have never seen or experienced anything like that in my entire life. If you ask a patient why they scheduled an appointment and then in the same breath, choose to reference a McDonald's menu as a way to created some lack-luster analogy to express your own lack of interest in the answer they provided is utterly insane to say the least. As a patient trying to advocate for my own health concerns the Doctor should try to be empathetic and actually listen.at least pretend if it is not in your own person wheel house to be genuine and connect with another human being. I'm sorry, but I mistakenly thought Doctors became Doctors because they cared for the wellbeing of others. I miss the times when humans shared a level of compassion with one another, versus insults. I am literally appaled by the experience. If you chose this Sharp location please select an alternate Doctor. Unfortunately, a Degree in medicine does not constitute kindness or emotional intelligence. I'm sure there are plenty of Doctors who actually have people skills, professionalism, respect, kindness, courtesy, empathy and are articulate enough not to mention the McDonald's menu. Aimee Lopes DO is not one of them. Maybe she should work at McDonald's instead, but even those staff members know how to exhibit courtesy and provide customer service. Scheduling an appointment with Amiee is like each patient is an order and as long you make it to the first window to pay your bill/ copay.nothing else truly matters. You are supposed to be helping patients Aimee, not taking orders. Here is an analogy that is in alignment with your choice of words today, "Patients are like burgers, how many have you, Aimee Lopes Do/Sharp flipped today? " If you hate your job quit, if helping others is not your passion, chose an alternate path and if insulting a patient is your objective then Sharp should seriously consider additional training and maybe time off.

This was my second time seeing Dr. Lopes. Amy is super-super easy going with a confident and easy to understand approach to diagnosis. I very highly recommend anyone to her. It's like being treated by an old friend who just makes you comfortable being around them.

I've been seeing Dr. Lopes for 20 years. She's easy to talk to. She's very thorough and makes suggestions for proactive healthcare without being pushy or judgemental. There are many doctors closer to me but as long as she is in practice I will be there.
