Andrew Vuong is an incredible tutor and human being. Andrew is a great communicator who is passionate about imparting knowledge and helping students better understand their subject material and it certainly shows. Andrew goes to great lengths to tailor his lessons to meet a students individual needs, and keeps challenging students at their own pace. Ryan is an incredible tutor, I have always been impressed by his ability to connect with students and understand how they see the problem and adapt to their unique way of thinking. Allison Carlisle is an incredible Physics tutor. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Not only is Allison brilliant at physics but she is exceptionally brilliant at explaining, working through problems, and helping and encouraging a student to work through the problems. Thank you Allison!

Eric Millington is an extremely capable and helpful test prep tutor. He shows an immense amount of experience and his strategies have been proven to be extremely beneficial to me.

Our daughter has been working with Ryan Li at AJ Tutoring and he has be so super supportive and helpful to her not only with SAT/ACT studies but also with math. He recently switched around lesson schedules totally last minute to help Nisha with some challenging math work she had in the week ahead and Ryan's help turned a stressful situation into one that became very manageable. Our son has been working with Dana since February 2021 for academic English tutoring. Dana is the most amazing, patient, empathetic, tenacious, and knowledgeable tutor we know! What our son truly values and appreciates the most about Dana’s teaching style is that instead of spoon-feeding him the answers to this assignments, Dana encourages him to think critically, gives him tips and further clarity on the subject matter so that he feels confident and empowered in crafting his own responses. It is all because of Dana's hard work and dedication that we have seen a significant improvement in our son’s grasp of High School English 2 (critical thinking, essay crafting, and vocabulary etc.) and his grade. Ryan Li provided ACT test prep tutoring for both of our high school kids. They both really liked him: super positive, knowledgeable, great energy and extremely responsive.
Niceties aside, the proof is in the pudding as they say and Ryan delivered: both of our kids saw major improvements in their ACT scores after working with him.

My son has worked with Angela to prepare for his SATs - both before the pandemic, during the pandemic, and now after school started up again. Angela has been fantastic! She has kept us up to date with closures and openings and registrations, was flexible and available via Zoom when needed, and, most importantly, figured out my son's testing style to give him the confidence he needed to do well. My son really enjoyed working with Angela and my daughter is excited to start the process soon, and as specifically asked for Angela based on her brother's personal reviews (and performance on the SAT, which jumped 140 points between April and August).

Our teens both benefited from working with Asia Raab. She is skilled, professional, understanding and showed flexibility with scheduling when needed (especially this past year). We highly recommend her.

In contrast to being COVID fatigued and uninspired when it came to school work over Zoom, our son was enthusiastic about his tutoring sessions with Sophia Sears. She kept topics and assignments interesting and engaging. During the most difficult year for learning, our son improved his performance level across the board in each category under Language Arts, and exceeded standard in most. We had a great experience with AJ Tutoring. Angela was great for 6th grade English. She is patient and understanding; but firm and disciplined. We have seen our son's writing improve both in detail as well as vocabulary. During Covid when we switched to online tutoring, the quality and depth of the sessions has stayed the same. I highly recommend Hailey Koh as an AP biology tutor. She has helped me with my scientific reasoning, test preparation, and was able to answer any question about any biology topic. She was extremely knowledgeable and one of the best tutors that I've ever had.

I loved working with Hailey Koh for my Chemistry Honors course. Before working with her, I was very averse to Chemistry, but throughout the year, she helped me realize my passion for Chemistry that I'm so excited to pursue in Organic Chemistry next year!
