I always leave my sessions with a better understanding of what I am learning; any time I come in confused Peter re-teaches it to me and teaches me tricks, and then I understand it. Made my grade go way up and would not be as good as it is without all his help.

I have been coming to AJ Tutoring since my freshman year in high school and the environment there could not be more welcoming. The tutors are absolutely amazing and they always strive to push their student to the best of their abilities. In my experience in the first semester of my junior year of high school, my tutor for AP Psychology, Michael Vogel, has been such a pleasure to work with. He is really chill and is super enthusiastic about psychology. He's helped me a lot through this semester, helping me with finding ways to study for my first AP class, preparing me for the AP test, etc. He's very knowledgeable about the topic and is always happy to help with anything. Overall, AJ Tutoring has been super helpful and I am always happy to go there throughout the week, knowing that I will be ready to learn in a fun and easygoing environment. I highly recommend AJ Tutoring (not just for the free snacks)!

I took practice sessions for both the PSAT and SAT here and would highly recommend it to anyone else. The company has dozens of their own practice materials that model the questions faced on the actual tests themselves perfectly. I was able to take both a practice PSAT and SAT in a timed test environment to prepare for the actual test. As a result, my scores have constantly been improving.

David Massey is an incredible SAT prep coach. Within one session, he isolated my strength and weaknesses and crafted a plan to bolster my performance in the areas that needed it. By the end of our training, I was scoring 160 points higher on practice tests that when we first started. The results speak for themselves. Finally, it doesn't hurt that David is a super friendly and interesting guy, which really makes Sunday afternoon training sessions fun.

Over the course of two years, I have had the chance to work one-on-one with Peter Littlefield for Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Peter has enriched my comprehension of all of these subjects through combining textbook and personalized examples to better demonstrate each concept. His assistance with Chemistry managed to help me turn a subject I previously struggled with and shrugged off into one that I understood and could articulate very clearly. With Physics, Peter was able to prepare me to confidently sit down for each test I took in class as well as the two APs I took for Physics as I knew I was armed with a plethora of different ways to approach and understand each problem I was given. Lastly, Peter managed to turn preparation classes for the Biology SAT test into much more than just a memorization period (which is what the majority of the test comprises of) by bringing in specific examples to associate with every Kingdom of organism, for example, to better provide me with context when I stumbled across a specific Kingdom of organism. On the whole, Peter managed to make tutoring sessions that should have been rather boring both fun and enlightening by drawing on things far outside the realm of what was being directly mentioned in the text to provide a better context for whatever was being covered at that time.

Elizabeth Emery has been the best tutor I have ever had in my high school career. She is patient, clear and direct. Not only has she been a great tutor for my ACT, she has also greatly helped me improve my general skills in math reading and writing.
