Ajisen Ramen San Diego

Give these people more business! They have recently opened their shop on the weekends for lunch, so the fact that it says they're closed is not true.

A favorite spot for tasty ramen. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. It has a cool atmosphere. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I liked.

Love this place. Super clean and great menu. The biggest plus for me beyond the fabulous food and drink menu, which is extensive, NO WAIT! I can't tell you how many times we waited at Raki Raki or Tajima in excess of 60-90 minutes. One night after I decided that waiting was not an option we drove past this place and gave it a chance. Never gone anywhere else since. Even right now in the middle of COVID19 pandemic, we continue to support them because these are the places that need our support and patronage. The small businesses that provide a great service.

My favorite here is #43, which is a clam ramen that is generous with the clams and rich in flavor. Their gyoza, fried chicken and fried tofu appetizers are excellent and each priced under $6.

If you haven't been here, give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Across the way is Tea N' More which has excellent tea and boba as well as a solid food menu.

My Wife and I LOVE this place. The service is ALWAYS FAST AND FRIENDLY.
We love the California roll (#5) and Inari sushi (#6) to start and the Miso ramen (#39) and FRIED CHICKEN (#13) are AMAZING! The fried chicken comes with siracha mayo which is absolutely delicious I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Surprisingly too many options on the menu, most of them aren’t even regular or typical good old Japanese style but more of a fusion style of Chinese, Thai.etc.
Ordered the black garlic ramen, the soup and garlic and the ramen are distinctly different from each other. It’s like eating a cheeseburger but separately with the bun, patty and cheese.

The place is very clean and tidy.
Wide selection of ramen and udon.
Staff is very nice, and helped me with substitution, since I don't eat pork.
I gave 4 stars and not 5 because they charged me $1 to replace broth. Maybe it appeared on the menu, but I didn't notice, and the waiter didn't say anything.

Came from Colorado and decided to just stop by. I didnt think I would find a gem this large on just an off chance. The cleanliness, service, and food was immaculate. Got the 31 ABC, and was thoroughly surprised by the amount of meat and the quality of everything in general. If I come back to San Diego I will 100% be having another bowl.

I eat here a lot since I work close by. I got to say their service is always awesome and they keep the spot well organized consistently. Pricing is affordable and they serve generous portions.

Love love love this ramen place! Has a veey pop culture vibe to it and their selection of ramen is amazing! They also have other things on their menu like bento boxes and regular susi rolls so everyone can be happy

I absolutely love going to Ajisen Ramen. The choices are fantastic. The prices are perfect and the customer service is top notch. I hope this place never goes out of business and its one of my all time favorite places to go too.

Very poor options for vegetarian people. I was very hungry and I just had to force myself to eat my ramen and hard vegetables. But broth was even Worse!
If you are Vegetarian or Vegan I do not recommend you to eat here. Ajisen Ramen will disappoint you.

Great Ramen! The soup base wasn't the best I've had but it still had good flavor. What sets this ramen apart from others I've had is the high quality of noodles and meat. I'll definitely be back again.

Fantastic service, fantastic food. Seated quickly, food came quickly, it was exactly what we ordered and better than we imagined. Definitely going back, often.

Ajisen has been a solid choice for ramen since the first time I visited. They have good variety on the menu with ramen, udon, rice entrees and more. Their weekday lunch specials are a good deal, and the bogo drinks are nice so don't forget to ask about it and check in.
Pretty quick seating for parties of four or fewer. Place is clean. Parking can fill up, but there's more across the street if needed.
Start with the Ajisen ramen with pork and soft boiled egg. If you don't eat meat, the veggie ramen is plenty satisfying.

I was hesitant to eat at this ramen restaurant because it looked very commercialized. My friend who had invited me asked that I give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant, I asked a waiter how long the broth boils for before being served. He had no answer and went into the kitchen to inquire from the cooks. The waiter came back with no answer. I sat down to order as to not embarrass my friend any further. I ordered their Ajisen Best Combo Ramen. It looked good at a glance, but the noodles were still hydrating and tasted horribly. I avoided those and went for the meat only to find it flavorless. Requested hot sauce and doused my broth with it. I ate the meat but could not force myself to eat the noodles or broth. My friend ordered the seafood ramen and it smell and taste was repugnant. If you are use to eating ramen from a package, this restaurant might me be a step-up from that processed food. I'll never give this place a second chance. The waiters tried to accommodate, but it was not enough to make amends for the distasteful culinary.

Excellence. Professional. Impressive. Good looking.detailed Menu, Acceptable Price. Variety of choice. Nice sofa, table. Massive decorations. Big parking. Beautiful Location. I'll be back.

Kimchi Ramen is my favorite. Serving is plentiful.
Service is great! Food comes out faster than you'd expect so its perfect for my one hour lunch.

One of our go to places for ramen here in San Diego. They have lunch specials from Monday to Friday. Just be aware that its mostly packed no matter what time of the day. Be prepare for an average of 15 minute wait.
