AJ's Fish Market, Lake Elsinore CA

We drive from Riverside to Lake Elsinore to get the best fried fish they’re is in my opinion everything fresh and taste really good so if u want some fresh, good. Fried fish Ajs fish market is your going to be your place located in lake Elsinore.

Been wanting to try this spot for a minute and finally made it. Customer service was great! I had the fried oysters, okra and Mac n cheese and a piece of fish. Disappointed in the Mac n Cheese no taste and looked like potatoe salad. And the extra piece of fish was way to small. I will give them another try to try out other sides.

Catfish po boy sandwich and shrimp sandwich was delicious. If your a fried fish person you need to try this spot out!

I most say I was alittle nervous because it's hard to find good catfish or even find catfish in CA, but this place didn't disappoint, now the are a little deceiving on the pieces, I got the 5pc fillet for $19& change, but its fillets cut in half so your getting like 2 fillets in a half, but it was good. Even the Greens and Mac was good and I really don't do mac&cheese, got a piece of corn bread on the side it was ok just under cooked to me, I would definitely come back

Great food and sumptuous portions. We had red snapper, chicken wings, the best sweet potato fries, and yummy collards

My husband and I drive all the way from Orange County to eat at AJ''s Fish simply the best. My favorite: Sandab, collard green and fried okra. My husband favorite: The combo platter catfish, green, oysters, shrimp and coleslaw. CHECK IT OUT IF YOU LOVE FISH, THEY HAVE OTHER ITEMS. LIKE CHICKEN

Back again & delicious as ever. Went with the jumbo shrimp dinner this time with okra & collard greens.

Only advice, though, is get it to go. They have the TV so loud it's impossible to have a conversation.

Catfish is about the best we've ever had anywhere, and the sides were fantastic. Loved the fried okra and mac & cheese in particular.

Not much of an ambiance here, but don't let that fool you. The food does not disappoint.

Tried this place out, Best ever! People were very nice, food was ready as expected. Must try if you like fish/shrimp.

I drove from SanDiiego to lake Elsinore just to get some fish when I was pregnant. It's so good! And the Mac n cheese is amazing!

My wife grew up in Texas and is very picky about her catfish. She absolutely gives five stars! Haven't tasted this good in years to her five piece catfish dinner with two side orders slightly spicy hush puppies and the huge pile of fried okra you get for $6 ***** enough food for 2 days. PS I also love their potato salad.

O-M-G! Tried AJs for the first time this evening. We had the Family Meal B with mac, greens, fries, okra, mac salad and sweet potatoes. HUNTY it was everything, quality food and great service, try it you won't be disappointed

It's sometimes difficult to rate food, as everyone has varying tastes. We are a bit of the "foodies" type. I've tried nearly every restaurant in Lake Elsinore. Some are good. Some, not so much. I have to say that when it come to being authentic, to what a certain style of food should taste like, no one does it better than AJ's. No one. This is not fast food. In fact, you may have to wait awhile. This is soul food. Made with love. Everything from the wings to the Po Boys. From the Mac and Cheese to the (candied) yams. Everything I've tried has been A+. I actually like this place better than Mother's (in New Orleans) which is saying a lot. Visit this hidden gem.

Heard great things about this place, first impression was lacking. Customer service was adequate. Took forever to get our food (2 sandwiches) and we were the only customers there. No AC running inside & overall cleanliness was a bit concerning. I got the catfish & shrimp combo 16$ sandwich and my partner the catfish sandwich. Both just didn't really bring anything to get excited about. Will have to try again. Before deciding to not return.

AJ’s is good.
The last time I went there the fish and the chicken did not taste the same. It was a disappointment after patronizing them for several years.
I hope this was a one time thing.

The one thing I love the most is fish and awesome authentic food. If you ever come to Lake Elsinore CA you must check out AJ’s and I believe they are the best. The fish is fried well, plenty of meat, the corn bread is mouth watering, and if you love collard greens it is a must have. I always order a double order of collard greens along with my fish and it is absolutely delicious. A family owed business, great customer service, and very clean.

After spending 25.00 sides were good the 3pc fish salty smell alittle old overcooked skinny portions tiny old shrimp also was not satisfied with the catfish this was 2pish on a Thursday drove over 30min for the price I came for the fish disappointing
