Second time using Tyler and his crew here at the La Mesa Al and Ed’s! This time around Tyler sure went the extra mile to WOW us on an install on my daughters car! He got us all set with a great head unit speakers and a backup camera. He did an excellent job delivering and his crew of installers worked late to make sure the job was done right! Highly recommend these guys!

Did my old cars system here 5 years ago so i decided to come back because i had such great results. Yet again I'm very happy. Tyler hooked me up with an awesome system. We walked step by step through what I wanted what we could do and I got the best system I could ask for. The installation took longer than expected due to issues getting the correct parts delivered but he stayed in contact and let me know what was happening. He hooked me up with upgrades due to the issue even though they weren't his fault. He told me he'd been really sick and had personal issues and he continued to stay in contact and work crazy hours and even after hours. The man was a trooper! I will be going back to get my windows tinted very soon!

I cannot express my true gratitude for what their team or workers have done for me for my Mercedes. This is a company that truly goes above and beyond. My install for a new radio was done in a day, replaced my radio, fixed my back up camera and switched out my amplifier. They communicated well throughout the day with me and that matters if you are concern about customer service. I left with a better product than I expected. Military friendly and transparent. For me that is a win! I will recommend and will continue to use them if ever I need their services. Thank you again for everything!

Excellent, meticulous installation of my #WeBoost OTR for #Vanlife travel AND Alpine speakers and amp (I can actually hear and enjoy my tunes over the wind and road noise) in my Winnebago Solis Pocket. The sweet, perfect power button sent over the moon! Tyler and the install crew rock!

If you're looking for car audio, you can stop searching now. I've went to get a quote from pretty much every audio installer in san diego but Tyler here at Al and Ed's won me over with his great price and amazing customer service. He will go to the ends of the earth to make sure your system is the one of your dreams. We went through so many brands of subwoofers to get the perfect custom enclosure (Diamond audio, FOCAL, Gladen moscony, Rockford fosgate) etc.and he will make sure it is absolutely perfect before he hands it over. 11/10.

Overall great service, down to earth staff that will walk you through whatever you want to do with your car, great pricing, and highly professional installation, I came in with a 1985 Nissan 300ZX and they managed to make all the overhaul installations seem very natural, nothing sticking or mishaps. Just overall a 5/5 experience.

Go to these guys! I've been getting car audio done for years, from Temecula to Southbay and hands down these are my dudes! They know exactly what they're doing, great Techs! The install is ridiculous, sooo nice, sooo clean. They knocked out a big portion of my audio goals, and needless to say I'll be going back for the rest! Dang.just so happy I found these guys. Recently bought a travel trailer and my stock JBL system in my 2006 Tundra Limited wasn't going to cut it. I needed an upgrade!

Looked around, talked to friends, read reviews and ultimately settled on Al and Ed's in La Mesa. I was impressed with the professionalism, attention to customer and detail expressed in many of the reviews. Tyler was very helpful in suggesting a system that would meet my needs for not only music, but capacitive touch-screen, navigation, back-up camera, and bluetooth trailer brake.

Due to the age of my truck, it took a couple days to get the required harness and compatible accessories, to make the installation top notch! Very happy that I found Tyler and his very professional and capable team at Al and Ed's in La Mesa!

Tyler at Al & Ed's was great to work with. He understood what I was looking for. I wanted to upgrade my vehicle with an Android Auto stereo, speakers, and window tint. I had a specific budget I wanted to stay within and he hooked it up with top tier gear and met my budget. Don't hesitate to get your vehicle upgrades here. He was able to install my old sub & amp, & helped me pick out the best components for my mids & highs within my budget range.

I was able to get a fairly good price on service and parts considering the scale of the job that was done. Though they take their time, it is totally worth it, because they made sure to do the best possible job they can! It sounds great. Also, they found a really good spot to put all the amps under the trunk, instead of under the seat. And the wiring looks clean!

Above and beyond is an understatement! My install took a tad longer than I was expecting, but wow was it worth the wait. Excellent customer service, friendly additudes all around, and best of all very competitve prices.

I can safely say that this is by far my favorite store. Tyler and his employees are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I purchased a radio system and backup camera for my kia sportage and I went back around 4 times to get adjustments to my liking. The team was quick to help and they made my vision come true without hesitation or frustration. If you are taking your business somewhere else, then you are definitely missing out. Quality work is being done here.

I did a lot of searching for the Right Car Audio Specialist to upgrade my 2016 CTS Cadillac, I finally decided to go to AL & ED's in La Mesa. I didn't want to change out the stock GM BOSE system, it was already pretty good to begin with. I hadn't been keeping up with Car Audio stuff for years, I was definitely out of the loop to how much tech has changed over the years.
When I Spoke to Tayler and I explained that I didn't want crazy crazy bass sound system, but a sound system that had just a prefect acoustics and sound quality. Tayler Totally Knew what I was looking for.

Once all the parts and pieces came in, I took the car to the La Mesa Shop and they had it for about 5 days maybe 4. First off the care that his techs have is absolutely the best! They are super clean and protect your car and its interior like nothing I've ever seen. (They really take care of your car).

Second, The Installation of all my components and where they hid everything was like it came from the GM Factory. Just perfect.

When I got my car back and Tayler and His team showed me what had ben done, I was in completely SHOCK! They Tuned every speaker correctly to get the highs out of the highs, the Mids to get Mid Sounds and Lows to the Bass speaker, also Install 2 New 6x9 speakers in the back along with a small 10" inch woofer. (That doesn't even take up any truck space, Which was a big factor for me).

I was so amazed on the quality of sound that was coming out of my sound system. Its amazing, all my friends are blown away by it.

If you need to get a new system, Call them up. The customer service was the best! The Installation Team Is the Best!

These guys are top notch. They did a complete audio overhaul in my 2016 Tundra. Full sound dampening. Installed a viper alarm with remote start. Really top notch work. If you need your install done right, talk to these guys.

This really awesome guy named Jeff was so knowledgeable and helpful. Al and Ed’s is a professional establishment and I found everyone to be above and beyond!

My mechanic referred me to Al & Ed's in La Mesa to upgrade the sound system on my RV, and I am very glad they did. Tyler has been my main point of contact and he has been exceptional to work with.

Al & Ed's installed four new Alpine speakers, a 12" subwoofer, a couple new amps to power it all, and a new Stinger head unit. They also installed a Sonos Arc below the TV in the living area. All of the work was high quality and the system sounds amazing.

After about six months, the sub stopped working and Tyler handled the situation very professionally and did all the warranty work for free and threw in an on/off switch as well. The team is clearly strong. Tyler leads them well and provides great customer service, which is exceedingly rare in businesses like this.

After an unfortunate turn of events, my previous system burned out. I met up with Tyler and started talking upgrades. With very little persuasion, I was sold on a total revamp, and it's proven well worth it. The basic Sync 3 was replaced by a stunning Linkswell T system. The music quality is amazing! Losing out on bluetooth is the least of my concerns, as the music tethered from Carplay is lossless. He went on to recommend a total change from the traditional trunk-filling amp set up. The highly efficient marine-grade amps are beasts! They push my hidden Illusion carbon components and wicked dual-10" carbon series like champs!

There's a reason Penske Ford recommended this shop. They seriously take care of their customers!
