Alamo Auto Care - Smog Check - Brake Service

Needed a smog for a title transfer on a car i just bought because the seller didn't have it done beforehand. I didn't have the registration and apparently the technician could not scan the barcode on the driver door and basically accused me of having a stolen car. I went to a different spot down the street, Buena Park Smog Test Only Center, and got it done no problem, with way better customer service.

He is very honest, great customer service, prices are reasonable. He will not fix something that doesn’t need to be fixed. My husband Anthony has been going to him for many years, he takes care of all our cars and our daughters cars. I highly recommend him.

I took my car to 2 different places for a smog test for DMV. The first stated he didn't have any time and the 2nd place, there was only 1 mechanic who was not present at the site for about 20min. When he did show up, he gave me a BS Story and seemed like he didn't want to work, asked me to leave the car when there was only 1 car in the shop. I found Alamo Auto Care. The mechanic here explained since my car only had 90k miles, the check engine light/Cadillac converter should still be good and perhaps there was an underlining issue causing the problem. So, after a Tune up some other minor work, I followed his instructions to drive the car for 3 days to make sure the check engine light don't return. When i returned, he hooked up the code reader, there was no code, I passed the smog check and he helped to resolve my ongoing car problems. Kudos and Thank you for a great job! I'll definitely be returning for my other car:)
