10I needed a car for a day to get around the city. The service was great at Alamo. No fuss. Will use it again for sure.
Everything was great. The check-in kiosk was nice so I didn't wait at all. They did not have the truck I reserved but upgraded me to a nice SUV. Return was easy and the shuttle to/from the airport was a breeze. Would definitely rent through them again.
The check out counter person was extremely rude. We did the skip the line and printed out the check out paper work like it said. We picked our car and went to drive thru the check out, paper said to give to check out person she em was snippy and said I don’t need that I need your small paper. There was no small paper. She kept saying I need the small paper. We handed her our credit card and license and the paper we printed that clearly stated on it to hand it to check out person and she said stop trying to hand that to me you keep trying to hand that to me. When I asked where would the small paper be she rudely snapped never mind. No thank you no good evening no thank you for renting with Alamo NOTHING. We have rented with Alamo for years. Not anymore. No thank you.

Made a reservation from the airplane mid-flight for a car to get home from LAX. Everything was easy and service was great.
Had to go somewhere else.they gave this story about how they have to have a credit card and can't use a debit. Which nothing in my reservation said anything about it. I will never use them again.

I rent from all of the companies, Alamo among them. This rental experience was the easiest and most cost effective I have had in many years. Good selection of vehicles, clean, appropriately sized, reasonable features, etc.the counter experience was fine - fast and courteous. I would recommend Alamo.
