17Alamo rents cars to tourists who cause accidents then refuse to pay for damages caused, pain and suffering. They insure their own cars therefore do not have to pay car insurance like the rest of us.

Very easy process. Employees were professional, kind, and helpful. The gentleman in the lot even drove a few cars over to us so we could choose the one we wanted. I don’t write reviews often but I’ve had so many horrible experiences renting cars I wanted to commend the employees of Alamo for doing such a great job. I’ll rent from Alamo again
They assured me when I called that they would stay open after close- as is their policy - because our flight was delayed. Not only was no one there, but the exits to the lot were blocked so we couldn’t even use our checked in car.
Nice cars. However, windshield is so dirty on the inside we're going to need to buy cleaner to clean it.
Nice people, no hidden charges. Rented from another company at the same airport a week before and stood alone in line while their counter agent ignored me for another 5 minutes before I gave up and walked out to their Preferred kiosk outside. When I returned their car I discovered that A**s then charged me an extra day because I had arrived 13 minutes early for my reservation. Alamo’s agents were fun and chatty, like real people and not corporate robots.
Worst experience ever! Arrived with my wife and 5 children at 11: 30pm and they informed the system was down and they could not do anything about my reservation. We came from Florida for the first time and we don’t know anything here in Ontario, they did not give us any advice at all to make alternative plans. Name of the manager was Yvette Carillo.
Ridiculous
My husband and I had a horrible experience with a man that claimed his name was Joel Luhan. We went back to return our rental car because there was multiple problems with it. The check engine light was on the inside was filthy and it was very uncomfortable. We paid for a full size SUV. When we got there Joel Luhan stated he had no vehicle he could switch to resolve our issue and only rent the same exact car we were having problems with. He also stated he could rent us a van which would have been a downgrade from what we rented. He argued with me and my husband and yelled at us in front of employees and customers. We asked to speak to a manager above him and he said he was the owner and he was above everyone in the Ontario airport. He said he did not have a boss and there was absolutely no one that he answered to. We told him we did not feel safe in the same kind of car and Joel said I did not make any sense and I did not have valid points. He questioned me and repeatedly asked me why I didn’t feel safe when I explained myself at least 3 times. He is very condescending and rude. Me and my husband were talking and he continued to yell and argue with us while we were having a separate conversation. I asked for a business card and he did not have one. He was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He did not have any customer service skills and for claiming to be the ceo of the company he lacked professionalism all around. We will never rent from Alamo again and I will continue to complain until this gets addressed. Driving in an unsafe vehicle also one that hurts our backs and him telling me there’s nothing he can do and questioning my concerns and findings is ridiculous and unsafe to the customer. Beware and do not rent from this company. They do not care about your safety and they lack customer service skills.
The car was clean and ran well.

Renting the car was so easy and we had no issues. Our flight got delayed multiple times so we were fortunate it only closes at midnight.
I accidentally left my prescription glasses in the rental. I realized immediately and called Alamo. Unfortunately I didn't have time to turn around. I simply wanted them to hold the glasses until the following morning. They never returned an email, a text or a phone call. Then they rented the car to someone else. The following day and still no one has contacted me. They don't care. They will not accept phone calls. So frustrating.

They take liberties with "equivalancies/substitutions" for vehicles. Not enough staff to help during rushes
The agent added collision coverage when I declined it. I found a charge for over $400 on my credit card and it was for the collision I declined. Be careful watch your rental agreements for added charges you didn't want.
The car itself was nice other than a declined charge all else was good.
Great customer service at this location. Yvette is a lifesaver. Our plans changed last minute and this location worked with us.
