Alaska Lounge reviews
21The lounge is often crowded. I went there three times as a first class ticket holder and could get in only once. Last time they gave priority to two groups came after me. A couple (perhaps they chit-chatted with the host and got in before me) and someone who was a lounge member. I don't understand why a first class ticket holder has lower priority than someone who purchases a lounge membership? I hope Alaska should honor the wait list strictly (first come first serve) and be clear about priority at their lounges. If I knew a first class ticket holder has little priority than other guests, I will just save my money purchasing a premium economy seat or fly a different airline who gives better treatment to first class ticket holders
How do you handle a "s. " storm? You hire the best, get out of their way and let them do their job. An AWESOME CREW managing the lounge.
Limited selection of food, not much to choose from. 1 soup, 1 salad, some fruits.not really appealing. Seats were uncomfortable. Barista was not available to make latte-although machine was there. They do have automatic latte and cappuccino maker, which doesn't work, of course.disappointing
Quiet, clean place to spend a layover. Salad, pancakes, soup, soda and a decently stocked bar. Can order personal sized pizzas.
Neither lounge staff/management nor most of the guests care about masks. I.e. Don't go there if you don't want to be exposed to maskless crowd, including coughing kids who given their age haven't been vaccinated.
Awesome staff and nice little lounge. Relatively large selection of complimentary spirits and a great selection bod complimentary craft beer. Better complimentary drink selection than the Admirals club.
Wasnt a great experience, access was very limited there wasn't much choice of food, only a salad and brownies. Don't thin I'm likely to try that again.
Alaska Arline Lounge was just o.k. Seems Airlines are getting away from credit card benefits unless you have the specific Arline lounge. Then you have to have a first class ticket to get in. For the price of the ticket, reasonable to expect superior food and service in the lounge. Food was just o.k, minimal sections. Service was polite and space was clean. The view outside was nice.
I cannot complain, except I wish they were in Priority Pass still. With the Alaska B of A branded card you get 50% off the $50 entry fee.
Such a shame that they took out the children's room with all of the kids itoys and books and activities, and the showers for travelers. Things change. But being able to pay for day use with a discount if you use an Alaska credit card was a very nice plus. The food and comfy couches made our
7 hour layover totally doable.
New Alaska Airlines Lounge at LAX (Las Angeles International Airport). The lounge is well staffed with knowledgeable and curteous staff. The lounge has a great selection of hot foods, pastries, cereal, pancakes, and fruits. The bar has a great selection of adult beverages and there is free Wi-Fi.
If you find my review helpful please give me a thumbs-up Thank you.
A smaller lounge in Terminal 6. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Beverages and snacks are offered, there is a barista and a full service bar. It is a comfortable place to wait for your next flight.
Looks dated and needs some refurbishing.carpet.chairs.bathrooms.in Portland Oregon and Lax.crowded. The food and drinks available are good. Staff friendly.
Nice to have a place to hang while waiting for a flight, but the Alaska lounges are much more basic than the Delta or Centarian lounges. There is usually soup & one other choice like salad or rice to eat for lunch & dinner. Something like scrambled eggs & oatmeal for breakfast. There is a full cocktail bar. Less seating than Delta & Centarian as well.
5 stars for the crew and the hustle. 3.5 stars for the food which could be stepped up from salad and boiled chicken. The crew made all the difference. Everything is kept super tidy and always full.
They don’t take priority pass anymore.
This lounge is in terminal 6 and very convenient if you have a flight in terminal 5. I recommend testing the pancake machine and getting an espresso to go.
The Alaska Airlines lounge at LAX is pretty good. The only problem is that it's a bit small and the furniture is a bit dated. This location could use a refresh.
The instant pancake machine is definitely one of the perks of the lounge. Consistent, delicious pancakes every time you push the button and within a minute too!
The staff working behind the counter in the bar area refuses to take tips as this is a part of their service so don't even try. They are some of the most kindest awesome people you will meet.
I recommend hitting this location up if you're flying through Alaska Airlines and have some extended time to spend in the terminal. It's a lot less crazy than waiting out in the gate area where there's limited space.
Great lounge! So nice and relaxing to hang out here before a flight. Barista/bartender was awesome. Pancake machine was fun. Lots of places to sit. Kind of a generic breakfast spread, but everything was decently tasty. Service was wonderful. Woman who checked us in was so warm and inviting. We will definitely come back to this lounge on the future. Thanks for making our early morning airport time so lovely!
Staff is very nice. Shout out to Cyprian Doblon, concierge who helped me with a last minute business request. 5 stars all the way
Good new addition to SFO for those that fly out of terminal 2.nice space, roomy and nice with good seating options.like most us lounges, food and snack options are relatively limited, so maybe not worth it for those who just buy day passes.but for lounge members, its a comfortable place to settle in and get work done between flights.
