Albertsons, Palm Desert CA

It's Albertson's! It's clean, spacious, easy to shop, and they've got self checkout. Wish my home store had a self checkout.

Always find just what I needed and at competitive prices! Staff is courteous and willing to provide exceptional customer service.

Most of the time it's quiet when I go in the morning it's stocked and usually there's a cashier.
This reminds me of Vons back in the day and I do believe they are a sister store.

Their deli has the best chicken wings! The staff are always attentive. Big store. Great selections. Flower area, Meat/Deli area, and so much more. Schools Firsts Bank located inside.

Horrible employee, they proceed to act nice while scanning my items. Shortly after, the bill come out to 154$, I gave them 220. However, when the recipe came back they decided to not include the extra 50$ that I gave them. Even worse, they forgot to give me my change. When I try to bring up the fact that they were 70$ short, they denied it and proceeded to said I had only given them 170$. Seriously, avoid spending big chunk of money as they can often rip you off if you’re buying using cash.

Like Albertsons a lot, great selection, good prices. Stores tend to be well laid out and maintained. Fruits and veggies always seem fresh. Good deli section too!

I received $50 Albertsons eGift card in email in the form of Barcode and PIN; it says acceptable to any Albertsons but actually it took me multiple trips to finally spend it out.
1). The 1st time staff there knew nothing about eGift card i showed in email on phone, but the person insisted all gift card should just swipe like any other credit/debit, i was in the only cashier line, to not block whole line behind me, I didn't argue with that and switched to my other credit ;
2) the 2nd trip i intentionally find out another Albertsons location with self checkout, think that might be easier without dealing with the cashier, but spent 10 minutes still couldn't out where to scan or type in barcode and PIN, then asked assistance, the staff there find out from their manual that all eGift card MUST be Printed on paper and go through a register, no way self checkout? ;!
3) the 3rd trip i did PRINT it out, and went to a cashier, but again the person knows nothing about eGift card, asked store manager to finally be able to just scan it, spend it.

The experience was horrible
Call to Albertsons management to think again about this require PRINTing policy, just think again about the paper waste,
by 2022 all other industries with eGift card can do paperless scanning from phone, the flight onboarding all switched to paperless mobile scanning, why Albertsons insist on paper printing?

I'm in a workplace that My employer regularly dispatch eGift card as extra benefits, this time choosing Albertsons eGift card is a big mistake, i have shared this experience everywhere and before Albertsons can take mobile scanning eGift, I'm not going to Albertsons again,

My past experiences with Ralphs/Target/Walmart were all pretty good, but Albertsons is too bad

This store is amazing. The only thing I could not find was non-dairy 'ice cream' products.

This is a good Albertsons, with all the usual amenities. They have a bakery, and a fresh meat section and there’s plenty of parking as well.

Nice store. Very large and clean. They have a good variety/ selection plus a drug store and a bank inside. Parking is plentiful.

Yeah it's a nice store they got a lot of good bargains for somebody who's on a very meager budget and the staff are extremely friendly and pleasant

I come to Palm Desert atleast once a year and stay at a friend's nearby this particular Albertson's. I do a grocery run about 3x a week, sometimes more than once in a day. I have never been disappointed with what the store has to offer AND customer service is great. Never encountered a staff member that didn't "care". Thanks for adding to my visit to PD as pleasant as the rest of my experience here

Grabbed lunch on my way to go camping. The employees here were very friendly and helpful. The selection was good and the prices were reasonable. Nice clean parking lot. The nature in this area is absolutely gorgeous.

This is a top-notch market! It is so clean, has anything you could possibly need, and there are employees on almost every row doing various restocking and cleaning. There is always help when you need it. Sometimes you can get some good deals there, too. Organic fruits and vegetables are abundant. Very impressed!

Managers here are on point and address questions asap. Some areas could use a more upkeep but staff shortages are affecting all stores. My favorite part is the bakery. Great cookies and a weekly go to item is the Yogurt Mousse Cake. It sells out before noon if not earlier. It's amazing and easy on the tummy.

Well stocked store with very helpful and friendly staff, would definitely revisit and recommend
