Albertsons, El Cajon CA

Alberts is always great. Good service with smiley faces. Had a special order and served just as requested. It's our weekly taco fix.

I like the fact that they actually have people working registers they're not just machines and machines machines and the line seem to move fairly fast

So many things out of stock!? This store is so big and the signage is horrible, it's so hard to find things. For such a large store they have a horrible beer selection.

I used to live on the East Coast in Delaware and our Albertsons are called Safeway.
I've always liked these stores because you can find basically anything you're looking for. I would say the only thing I miss from the East Coast that the West Coast does not have, is Turkey Hill ice cream which is sort of like soft serve in a half gallon container.
But I have found ice cream sandwiches I have never seen before maybe because I've never really looked but I think the ice cream sandwiches are called fat boy Juniors and they are pretty darn good.
Anyway.
I also like how Albertsons has an app that you're able to clip coupons and they automatically apply at the register when you enter your phone number associated with your account.
Especially in these times when everybody is trying to pinch pennies as much as possible every coupon helps.
I also like that after so many points you earn free food items, I mean who wouldn't be excited to get free food!

I placed an order to pick up this evening at 5 PM. Food was fresh, on time and the gentleman was friendly.please don’t forget to be kind and friendly like this young man. It does make a difference.

Not my regular grocery store but I was on a futile hunt for frozen hash browns, frozen. A very nice employee showed me the hiding place of some that aren't frozen. I never would have found them on my own. Thanks so much to that nice young man! I hope he'll see this and know how much I appreciate him!

Store is huge, compared to where I used to shop. I shop here because I can find products that I can't find elsewhere. I like the butcher shop; I can buy the quantity I need, which is usually less than what's offered to the public. The staff there are friendly and helpful.
The produce department has many offerings. The staff there are friendly and extremely helpful. They will stop what they're doing to help find what you need.
Checkers and bagging folks are friendly and helpful. My major issue with the store is its size. I have to walk a lot and, I don't walk so well

The Albertsons in Rancho San Diego is always clean & fully stocked!
This grocery store chain can be a little more expensive than others in the area but careful shopping can offset that with in-store bargains
It has a large parking lot and plenty of shopping carts

I went to the Albertson's in Rancho San
Diego. Way cleaner and way safer than the one downtown. I was in the neighborhood shopping for pool supplies and figured I'd stop there on my way home.

I visited Albertson on Oct-1-2022 Address 2899 Jamacha rd. El Cajon, CA, morning to issue Money order by western union, employee Mireya made mistake by issuing the check $20 more than I said to her, I asked to correct the check, Mireya refused, I asked the supervisor Mike to solve the problem and issue the correct one, Mike ordered Mireya and she did, after finish Mireya said to me if you come again, we did not serve you anymore, the supervisor heard that. Is this acceptable in Albertson Stores?

They cannot find the keys to open their own locked cabinets. Don't waste your time asking.

Newly remodeled. They hire the handicapped which is refreshing and not an inconvenience in any way. Lots of parking and there is security driving around.

This store wow very clean and you can almost find everything you need they open early so you can shop and take your time. Best time are early. Everything is so organized and well kept neat. The cashier was very nice

Best location I've been too in a while. The layout, the available items, the cleanliness is great! Will definitely return - and I live in La Mesa.

Rude employees they all need to be trained well before bringing them to this store or any other stores they are not happy to be here so please bring someone else who loves to be around people to assist them and provide an excellent customer service

I only shop at Albertsons. Thus one always seem to disappoint me, especially the deli and bakery. The store is clean and well organized like other stores. The staff is not too friendly and are short, grimacing and seem unhappy at times. This is a big difference from other stores. The chicken at the deli is sub-par (cold, old and/or chewy about 50% of the time). For some reason 100% of the time the bakery is out of single serve muffins, rolls, or bagels. And, they don't seem to care. Anyway, its still better than other stores but much worse than other Albertsons.
