Alcatraz Shade Shop reviews
3 I was happy to find his store because Alcatraz shade shop is close to where I live. I wanted to use them for my new blinds. However, I will never use Alcatraz shade shop again. Here is my story: I came in for repair on my rollup blind and they replaced part of it, but they made it too long so I had to bring it back to have them redo it. I would think a professional would measure before they repaired the blind. They were not very sympathetic or apologetic.
Furthermore, each time I have come in to the store it feels like they don’t want my business, I feel like I’m not wanted, or that I’m interrupting them. The lady who takes the order is always curt, rarely friendly, I don’t think I’ve seen her smile. My jokes and light hearted behavior fell on deaf ears.
I hope you have a better experience than I did. I had a better experience at the blind store in Alameda.
I’ve never actually purchased anything, but I drive past on the way to work everyday and you sign out front always makes me laugh. Y’all are doing gods work.
I went there years ago when it was full of samples and all kinds of things to discover. Went in today to look at some wood blind color samples and there was a desk and a few floor displays. I asked the person behind the desk if I could look at some blind color samples. She said the owners were out and wouldn't be back for over a week. I wouldn't know where to look for them. "I can make an appointment with the owners when they return. " No thanks. I left saying thank you. She responded No Problem. And it really wasn't for her.
