Alcove, Escondido CA

I stayed at Alcove for a year and during my stay the leasing staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure anything I needed was taken care of and responded promptly to any questions/issues I had. The apartments are nice, the pool has a large screen TV for sports and the gym has a good amount of equipment.

Finding additional empty parking in the parking lot was challenging after 430 and guest parking is limited to 6 spots so if you have guests I highly recommend bringing them before then.

Overall a great place to stay.

I would give these people negative 5 stars if I could. They are extremely dishonest and deceptive. Took my deposit, refused to return it, yet denied my application stating “you make too much $” when in fact they were provided my income prior to applying. Of course can you imagine how much money they are scamming from people? Do the math. An application fee of 50$ x 1000 people! Can you imagine how many people they’ve done this to? Wow no wonder California has so many homeless people when the state allows this type of business practice. They also broke the law by not returning the deposit within 21 days. Shame on y’all.

These people are dishonest. They tried to collect money from the county in my name for rent when I had moved out 6/20. Also it was a guy that worked in office that would go inside your apt pretending to do a welfare check. A couple of my new phone accessories came up missing. I am sure he stole them b/c no one else was ever in my place. I didn't like it b/c they allowed too many big dogs.

The team here are friendly, personable & always smiling! I feel comfortable & relaxed. My daughter, doggy & I have been here since they were first built. Going on 4 years. Will, Tina, Reese, Miquel & Javier are an awesome team! They are professional & friendly. Javier is super quick & friendly! They all work very hard & love what they do & it shows in their attitude. They always wave hello when passing & have a smile on their face. Theyre an AWESOME team! My daughter, doggy & I are happy here- my apartment is extremely modern. Theres a club house, awesome luxury pool with a HUGE screen TV, awesome gym…. Doggy wash area room. In the leasing office- they offer snacks & drinks that my daughter enjoys from time to time. Very kind. We just rented out the club house for my daughters 13th birthday party. It was a blast! They have community get togethers that are such a special treat - even a food truck or two are known to come around on a weekly basis. The way I am treated as a resident means a lot to me & I appreciate them very much. Thank you TEAM ALCOVE!

I moved in a little under a month ago with my Fiancé, and we're loving it.

The staff at Alcove is absolutely amazing! Our initial visit to the leasing office was an experience beyond compare. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were met with an atmosphere of kindness, warmth, professionalism, and genuine care that left a great impression on us.

First and foremost, the staff at the leasing office are the epitome of excellence. Tina is absolutely amazing! She always greets every resident by name with a warm smile, an approachable demeanor, and an eagerness to assist. Tina and her team were also accommodating and flexible with us when we had scheduling conflicts with our move-in date. Although we have mostly worked with Tina, Will has greatly assisted us; before moving in, he answered every question, no matter how trivial. Will is extremely thorough, demonstrating his commitment to potential residents and residents alike.

Their excellence doesn't stop at the leasing office. Their maintenance team, especially Javier, has been exceptional. Their promptness and professionalism are unparalleled. Any concerns or issues you might have will be handled quickly and effectively. All of the amenities in the community are always in impeccable condition.

The only point of contention we've encountered is related to parking availability. While the complex offers a variety of amenities, the parking spaces a bit limited during peak hours (late afternoons/nights and weekends). This results in a bit of inconvenience, especially when coming back home late at night or on the weekends or those who have multiple vehicles. It would be wonderful if the complex could explore options to expand parking facilities to accommodate the existing community.

If you want to live in a "luxury apartment" vibe at a more affordable rate than comparable apartments in the San Diego / Oceanside area and enjoy a place with an outstanding team, then this is the place for you!

Its been more than 4 months moving here and excellent management, quick to respond always be it in email or via call, especially Tina, friendly and very professional. The maintenance requests are on point with Havier being very professional and finishes the work quick.

Lived there from 2019 to 2021 and all i could remember feeling when moving out was a sense of relief for moving out of the most ghetto high price luxury place I've ever lived. Had homeless people break onto my balcony at 5 am. Multiple times if I remember. The whole block is surrounded with homelessness and always hearing police sirens. Horrible location, gates are a joke, my car got broken into. They don't respond to someone breaking on to my balcony until it happened twice. Would not pay this much to live like this again. The apartment itself and staff were great but the location was hell to live in.

So far my experience at Alcove has been great! It was my girlfriend and I's first time moving into an apartment together and it was overall a very smooth process. From touring to applying to moving in, Tina really helped through it all. She is so friendly and welcoming so it made us very comfortable with asking any questions. The communication was also very good through it all. There were a couple small speed bumps along the way in regards to paperwork, but it wasn't hard to deal with at all because of the transparency and assistance that Tina provided. We are a few weeks into our move in now and the place is so amazing! We have the A5 layout and it is so spacious for 2 people. Honestly the perfect amount of space for our needs at least. We haven't gotten a chance to use the amenities yet (gym, rec center, pool, etc.), but they definitely all look very nice and we'll kept! Only complaint I have is the lack of an elevator with us being on the 3rd floor. It made moving in a bit of a challenge. We definitely got a good workout from that though haha. Overall we couldn't be happier with our first apartment move in experience!

I moved in Alcove October 2022 Will, Reese, Tina, and Javier are all wonderful, knowledgeable, and professional. We I have questions or concern they address them promptly and efficiently. I am very pleased that I made the decision to move here.
