I’ve been living here since this complex opened in August of 2021 and it has just gone down hill in the last year.

1. The original management team was excellent. Specifically Spencer and Tracy and the other two ladies who worked the front desk. They were all so warm, friendly, approachable, and always took care of any complaints or concerns promptly. There was a turnover in the whole management team about a year ago, but there honestly there might as well not be anybody in the office as you cannot depend on them to be assertive with your concerns nor do they follow up with you.

2. My main problem has been going on for at least a year - the tenants above me just let their pet waste (both stool and urine) fall onto my balcony, affecting my outdoor living area and damaging my patio furniture. Not to mention having to deal with the constant flies, the foul odors of pet urine, and using my own cleaning supplies and water is just very very frustrating. I’ve brushed it off for 6 months and reached out to the leasing office via email with proof of photos in July with still no resolution. I’ve even approached the tenants above myself since I can’t depend on the leasing office to attend to this situation, but the tenants of course don’t seem to care. It is now November and the leasing office still has yet to resolve or escalate my complaint. I love living in this area due to its central location, but this problem has definitely had me contemplating on moving. I shouldn’t be paying $3500+ for a luxury apartment only to feel like I’m living in a dump due to all the pet waste dripping down on my balcony.

3. The overall upkeep of the complex also just hasn’t been maintained. The side entrances are filthy, dusty, and odorous. There has been questionable spill stains for weeks, maybe months, on the door and walls of the side entrance. The plants and grass haven’t been maintained as well. All the plants are dying and the mulch surrounding the perimeter of the apartment all reek of pet urine. Like the other reviews mentioned, although this complex claims to be “pet friendly, ” there is no designated dog park of any sort to let your pets take care of business. This results in having your pets just urinate on the property plants.

4. The security measures in this place have gone down as well. When this complex first opened up, we had multiple security personnel patrolling the perimeter and two garage gates. Now there’s only one security person that comes occasionally, and the second set of garage gates no longer close. There was a day where I came home to find my parking spot being occupied by someone who appeared to be living in their car where I found them sleeping. The tow truck company responded promptly, thankfully. There have been frequent emails about break ins (cars, the bike room, etc.). There’s a small homeless encampment behind the complex and this results in homeless walking around the complex and you hear them screaming at night across the street. I understand there can be nothing done about the encampment, but I do believe we pay a pretty price to at least have adequate security measures in place.

My point in this review is that the same problems have been brought to the attention of the leasing management team, but they have yet to resolve any problems. There’s no follow-through nor follow ups. It’s a pretty place to live, very modern, has everything you need, the central location is the best part - but management in this complex just ruins your living experience here.

Very nice looking apartments, but the hall carpets smell and look dirty, they also use to provide guest parking and now they charge, so keep that in mind if you ever visit.

Very interesting layout for an apartment! I deliver to this place very often! And I have gotten lost before! But the entire place inside and out is just so modern and cool feeling! I love delivering here. This place is super, super cool! The keypad entry system is also a huge plus and makes it easy for delivery drivers to get in and out!

I lived here for two years and moved in while half the building was in still under construction. The units are modern as to be expected and the amenities are nice. The gym facilities are good. I have seen the entire building staff turnover from leasing team, management and building maintenance. The on-site staff has always been friendly and pleasant including the management/leasing team. I believe they do a great job and none of my negative experiences at the property are related to their hard work or professionalism.

The fire alarm issues were a serious problem for the first 1.5 years; they still happen every couple of months, but lately in daytime hours which is somewhat of an improvement. Smoke detectors are highly sensitive, and I hear multiples going off during the evening while people cook.

If you value quiet enjoyment of your home, I highly recommend avoiding any unit that faces the pool courtyard. People are loud and it echoes. From screaming kids to late night hot tub parties, I’ve had to use ear plugs to be able to sleep on weeknights on several occasions. They do no enforce the 10 pm quiet hours. I have seen the police show up on couple occasions due to late night noise. There is also community-controlled music played on weekends and it is loud enough to hear inside my unit with windows closed.

There are hidden homeless encampments surrounding the building and nearby river and transients walking around the general vicinity all times in this neighborhood. The pool area is minimally secured, and I have witnessed homeless neighbors from the river/freeway encampments use the poolside showers in full nude at 7am. I’ve found homeless sleeping in the stairwell landings as well. After that, my sense of security in the building was never the same. Management relayed there is security outside of business hours, but I’ve seen no evidence of this. Also, they leased their exterior parking spaces to be managed by ACE parking, so, they force people with visitors or extra vehicles to pay no matter what.

During the Winter rainy season, the street will flood to the point that you will only have one access in and out the building – the city gates/closes-off the road; river flooding was significant in early 2023.

Lastly, the corporate ownership of this property is extremely greedy. I was faced with a renewal rate that was a 25% increase ($650+) and only a month-to-month term option. A great reward after tolerating their soft opening and crazy fire alarms in the middle of the night. They clearly couldn’t care less about retaining quality tenants. 90 days after my renewal notice and a week after I moved out, the complex has 40 vacant units and asking rate for my old apartment was only $100+ than I was paying. I guess everyone moved out after receiving their increase notices and they couldn't find applicant with deep enough pockets to qualify.

I honestly cannot recommend a Greystar building and will be avoiding them and warning people against leasing with Greystar managed properties.

This place is a dump! Run! It was a beautiful building that continues to be trashed. There used to be security guards, which they got rid of. The trash rooms are always filled to the brink. Hallways smell like weed and they allow smoking in common areas. I can't even tell you how many morning I have stepped in pet droppings in the elevators/hallways. They locked the garage door that is meant to be openable in the exercise room. The building is surrounded by unhoused individuals who scream, fight, and stand in the middle of the roads at night when returning to the apartments.

Lived here 10 months. Amenities are nice however new renters should be warned. Beautiful pictures of the facility. Plenty of public/private work space. Bike room available, storage lockers, gym, public grills, pool, hot tub, and a kinda secret/ not so secret artroom which has a fun speakeasy vibe. The ugly. Maintenance requests will most likely not be answered in a timely manner, there is a lot of turnover with management staff and they simply do not care enough. Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone in the office, they don’t answer phones when they are in, but usually they are always “temporarily” out of the office. Homeless shower and wash their clothes in the pool and hot tub. The never clean the pool so put on your best pool boy outfit. Residents do not clean up dog poop from around the property and even the hallways. The smell of dog urine in the parking garage and elevator can be overwhelming at times. Car breakins happen often here so lock those doors and don’t leave valuables in the vehicle, don’t expect the management to take any responsibility for their lack of security and inability to maintain their “security measures” they have in place. Fire alarms go off all the time throughout the building, not the little one in the apartment but the louder ones for the entire facility. This often happens in the middle of the night and will go on for almost an hour. The building just recently changed the process to file maintenance requests and issues. It used to be a nice easy app where you can add a picture of the issue, now it’s an overly complicated website. I suspect this was done to reduce the number of complaints. That being said, the actual maintenance crew are actually very friendly and helpful when they get to you. I won’t say don’t rent from this complex, but consider if you’re up for the issues. Overall I do not recommend this place.

We recently moved into Alexan Gallerie, and the experience has been absolutely seamless! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, especially Colin, making the move-in process really easy. The amenities offered here are top-notch. The helpfulness of the staff stands out, as they are quick to address any concerns and genuinely care about the residents' well-being. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time here so far. Highly recommend!

If you want to be waking up constantly in the middle of the night at 3am by a fake fire alarm, choose this place. The homeless jump the fence regularly and wash their clothes in the hot tub and shower outdoor. Sometimes, they even sleep in the pool area. Management doesn’t care. Vehicles get stolen from the garage door and the gate is always broken, not to mention the homeless camp around the corner. The rent goes up each year by 10%. Also, be prepared to pay a trash fee of $60 monthly among other outrageous prices here.

I’ve lived here for over a year and yeah the apartment complex is nice, but things keep breaking. First it was the constant fire alarms, sometimes in the middle of the night. Then it was the gates into the garage (multiple times). Then our toilet kept breaking. Now our microwave is broken and has been broken for almost 3 weeks. We contacted maintenance & they didn’t respond until a week and a half later. Once they did they said we needed a new one and we haven’t heard anything since. Maintenance used to be pretty on top of it but not so much anymore. It took us reaching out and calling 3 times to get them to see the microwave. We also keep having no hot water at random times and have had our power go out randomly as well. We’re frustrated that things keep breaking, especially considering it is a brand new complex and we are the first tenants to live in our unit. Rent shouldn’t be this high for a place that constantly has these issues.

I'm a current resident and we are finally leaving after 16 horrible months! I have a long list of why people should not move here. I see that most of the people that does the 5 star revies are the ones that do not live here yet. For 1 the staff seems all nice and friendly until you sign that lease, they dont care. 2 the ALARMS! They go off at lease once if not more every month and their excuses are ridiculous! At first its the test trials.but at 3AM? ! It doesnt stop there and it just keeps happening and recently my wife talked to Tracey about why we are leaving. My wife answered that there are cars, bikes, and motorcycles that are getting stolen. She also mentioned the alarm, the amount of homeless people hanging out in the building and all she could say was " well.wE fiXeD thE AlarMs.and also maybe you guys are just not used to urban living.like WHAT! NOT FEELING SAFE IS US BEING NOT USED TO "URBAN LIVING? " They constantly be little your concers. My brother's car also got broken into and again he was asked. "Did you lock your doors? " REALLY? ! Also dont get fooled with the "dog friendly" there are signs everywhere that tells you where the dogs cant go! And they have so many amenity areas that are not being used why not turn it to a dog park? There are literally morethan 5 hangout areas and people barely use them. Dont live here its not safe and you'll just waste your money. The amount of rent we pay? And just to live somewhere its increadibly gross? Its not close to luxery living at all.

Came here to inquire about an apartment. Was very impressed with the complex but I found out parking for residents interested in a 1br only gets one parking spot. If you have two vehicles which almost everyone does you would have to park off of the property which means street parking which there is none unless you park at the mall.

I live in a 1 bedroom in Alexan gallerie and It’s fantastic so far. Place is clean and neat most of the time. The only downside is that people walk their dogs with no leash. The neighbors dog attacked my dog not too long ago and continues to walk the dog without leash. I also wish there was a dog park or pet release area but other than that this place is amazing. Def recommend it. Shout out to spencer that is always nice
