Yes, in general dealership service is higher. Generally due to certified technicians and OEM parts. Typically it saves you more $$$ over time when you take your Hyundai into AHoOxnard because you know the repair service you get won't void any warranties. Ask for Rolando Reyes. He is transparent and educates his clients in all procedures w/pros and cons.

Shout out to Mike McCain, he made the process incredibly easy and transparent. Buying and negotiating on vehicles is stressful enough, but he made it clear and straightforward. I had visited/chatted with over 6 Hyundai dealerships for an Ioniq 5, and I can assure you he is the reaaal deal and pleasant to work with, none of that highly aggressive/pressure sales tactics.
I had to fly down from northern California to purchase the car, and he ensured everything was smooth sailing once I got there after we agreed on expectations and price, etc.
He even picked me up from the local airport, and got me free lunch as finance was out on break when I arrived around 12p.
He'll make sure you are taken care of, whatever financial or geographical situation you may be in during your car search.

I had a great experience purchasing a NEW vehicle. After one month the vehicle overheated and hyundai did not provide a loaner vehicle. The turn around was two weeks and the employees showed no concern. You already signed so we will get to you when we want to is how I took it.

I own a 2021 Hyundai venue. I am very satisfied with the car. However, their recordkeeping in the service department leaves much to be desired. I had my car in for service at the end of August, since that time I have received five emails to bring my car in for the service that was completed in August. I have emailed them back, and also I have actually gone in and spoken to them and asked them to update their service records. When I went in personally the fellow said oh, just ignore them. That’s not the way to do business. You need to keep your records current.

For 15 years, all was well and good until I decided to buy out my (THIRD) lease. At that point, I was treated as less than, given no attention, no return calls, and fed lies. I had my own bank take over my loan because Manny Ortiz, puppeteered by Felix Ortega, could not intelligently answer my questions. Pay close attention to your lease agreement, people! Question everything because these "sales" people proved themselves as stereotypical car salesmen - incredibly disappointing and untrustworthy. While I may continue driving Hyundais, I will no longer do business with ALEXANDER HYUNDAI Oxnard.

I had a Hyundai lease that was totaled. I went to get a new car by myself. My salesperson was wonderful. He worked with me. There was no high pressure, and we were able to make a deal within a couple of hours.

I bought my Hyundai Santa Fe from a Toyota dealership, I had my vehicle for 2 months when it went out on me. I contact the Toyota dealership where I bought it and they weren't any help. When I contacted this dealership and talk to the service manager about my situation, he made me feel at peace, Service Advisor Julio let me know what was going on with the vehicle. It took about a month to get my vehicle back and I'm 100% satisfied with the overall I was provided with the highest level of service. To the General manager of Alexander of Hyundai, you have an awesome team.

I would kindly recommend you walk around your car and look for scratches on your paint before you drive away! I Wish I did, next morning realized they scratched the paint. The big big concern is My third party oil change place told me I have oil SEAPAGE, but the dealership denies it.

A car dealership with outstanding customer service, professionalism, and a very friendly staff.

I needed a software update on my car (Hyundai Elantra) and the Oxnard Hyundai Alexander Dealership was more than happy to assist me with this software upgrade.

The task was completed in one hour, as they had stated to me, the staff was professional and courteous and Diane Alfaro, service consultant was a tremendous help form beginning to end.

Overall, the dealership appeared to be brand new and very clean and modern looking.

The salespeople that we met were not pushy, but rather friendly and pleasant to engage with.

Overall, I WILL recommend this dealership to friends and family and to anyone reading this review!

Hyandai is the best car I ever owned and I have owned new Mercedes and BMW's in my life. Had 84,000 miles and did another left over.this year. Services are so reasonable and I was still on my first set of brakes. Had no problems with my 2016 Accent during ownership.

I took in my Elantra for a recall (for the security feature). They were so nice! They asked me if I needed anything, without being overly pushy. They even washed my car for free, and gave me updates. Great, fast service

My 2016 Veloster is stalling out at intersections and I contacted the corporate office, they confirmed the engine is under warranty. There was another service ticket generated for the paint that’s fading in the back which considering that I still have a few payments left on the original loan doesn’t seem like an unreasonable concern.
The service representative greeted me and interviewed me regarding the engine problem. He was extremely patronizing and kept repeating the questions…also showed zero concern about my safety. When I’m giving my info two other representatives came up and it was an uncomfortable vibe like I was some threat to them?
He then asked me to show the paint situation which he had already taken pictures of he blew me off “it’s just sun damage “ when there is currently a recall for chipping and fading paint on the 2016 Veloster.
The final blow was his curt demand for me to pay the $200 diagnostic test. NO!
I’ve worked hard and made payments and refuse to pay the 3rd party dealership for a service under warranty.
I contacted the corporate office and they agreed to mediate I do not recommend buying or servicing a car at this dealership.

Just wanted to give a great big THANK YOU to Roland Reyes and Art at Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard for taking such good care of my car and me. It was a very positive experience and everything was done efficiently and professionally. I highly recommend bringing your car here. One of the best places for customer service and car maintenance and repair.

I am very grateful with full assistance and support from MIKE McCAIN, despite of our first day visit failure of negotiation, with his perseverance and follow-up call, my daughter decided to take the deal. Without his due deligence, my daughter would have gone to other dealer in San Diego. Thanks a lot to MIKE but totally disapppointed with the other sales agent "D", who said "So we did all these FOR NOTHING" on our first visit. His attitude is not acceptable for me and my daughter.
Also, Thanks to the Gen Manager who made few requests happened.

Warranty service denied on my 2021 Palisade. Trim became unglued. Service writer insinuated we caused the damage because the trim glue is super strong and it never would have come un-glued by itself.

Crazy.is there such thing, if so, nothing would ever come apart.

What ever happened to the great service and best warranty in the market?

Extremely unsatisfied and offended by their remarks.

This will now cost me $350 to repair. Why.

Called to get an appointment for my 2017 Sonata, service rep was extremely rude, arrogant and a complete jerk. Said it would be a minimum of 2 weeks to even look at the issue. Whoever is working on Monday, May 8 - you’re driving customers AWAY! Do better Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard. Until then, we’re going to Thousand Oaks.
