When Joann, Owner of Alexandria Home Care, came to our facility, it was the perfect opportunity for me to try their services.
She was very friendly, warm and highly knowledgeable of what quality care for patients mean since she has an extensive experience with caregiving as well.
Although she had informed me that her company is new, about a year or so, I wasn’t reluctant at all to give them a chance.
As a trial, I referred a resident to Alexandria Home Care that was somewhat hesitant with care from my own staff. The resident has been with us for a few months and all attempts from our end ended up in failure.
After explaining the situation, difficulties, and most importantly my expectations with Joann, it only took her experienced caregiver one day to convince the resident to cooperate.
It was a pleasant surprise to have found a new agency that can provide such high quality service these days and I am glad that I didn’t hesitate to give them a try.
More importantly, I now have the opportunity to refer to residents families an agency that is dependable with not only experienced caregivers but will also treat their loved ones like family.
