If you find a cairn (stacked rock hippie art), and it is not identifying a trailhead, or a marker for a turn on a trail, please knock it over. They are dangerous for people who actually use them, and could lead to someone getting lost, or worse, their death. No hippie rock art is worth someone dying.

Found a silver coin/ medallion type thing/keychain maybe? Not sure how long it had been lost but feel free to respond with description and I will gladly return to owner.

Quite close to Mt Shastha & Burney falls. Near to small river, nice campgrounds. Not far from highway & paved road.

Perfect place to camp after spending the day playing at Shasta. Very quiet and close enough to town to still be convenient.

Such a beautiful place. Quite and close but seems so far away. Dispersed camping for free with a vault toilet. Great hiking trails. Be sure to get there early. There are 9 camp spots and you will need a fire permit that can be obtained online for free through the forest service website.

A few spots with fire pits and camp tables. Restroom on site. More spaces down the road without tables or fire pits. Appears to be a logging road. Some phone reception. Beautiful location. Pack it in pack it out. #isamazingjourney

I had the entire campground to myself in late October. Quiet, peaceful, creekside, trail and vault toilets
