4 TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I waited 4 months to get an initial appointment, 4 months more for the endoscopy. They refused to order non-invasive tests in the meantime, like blood and fecal, which would have yielded immediate results. The waiting time worsened my symptoms and caused considerable harm to my body. Another doctor ran a fecal test and I had results and a treatment plan within days.
Dr Banai and his PA misdiagnosed me, and then ordered an endoscopy which was unnecessary and yielded incorrect results. This caused considerable harm and possible long term damage to my body.
The office staff mixed up my name and file with another patient which was a nightmare to untangle. Immediate concern for HIPPA standards.
The office staff was mediocre and rude. I didn't meet the doctor until the day of the endoscopy, and when I did he did not listen to me or offer anything guidance or support. He was creepy.
People like this should not practice medicine. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.
Work experience ever do not recommend his office nurses are no help I asked for a follow up and gave it to me threw the phone she said there was no need for one terrible service he has 2.6 stars for a reason
I'm going to be honest I was pretty skeptical after reading the reviews for this office, but after having been seen here I can say that everyone I've dealt with so far has been pleasant and professional. The ladies at the front desk helped me with the paperwork and scheduling, and the Dr I saw was very friendly and professional and was able to explain everything in a way that I could understand.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor and his awful staff. The doctor has very limited availability for appointments or even a return phone call, gave poor and unhelpful advice and was not able to help me. In addition, his receptionist is an absolute nightmare.she is just rude and mean!
