I want to review this place a -5. The fact that this old lady (I refuse to call her an old doctor) is allowed to stay in business and “help patients with pain management” is a complete joke. I literally just watched her ask a staff member to forge my initials on a document I refused to sign. I'm in UTTER shock, now that I am here reading the reviews I can't believe my primary would refer to to a place reviewed like this. I will certainly sit with my primary doctor to go through some of these horrific reviews and research any other doctor I am referred to. Can't wait for karma to hit one day, God will put her in the worst pain of her life. And don't get me started with the rest of the staff, equal if not worse. DOCTOR ALICJA STEINER NEEDS TO BE SUED FOR MALPRACTICE.

For some reason she stopped my treatment for pain Management.
I'm not going to complain on here, but I will to the medical board.
I just can't believe she disrespect me the way she did

She is the best when she sets your personal pain Management program. He's Young when it can get my pain low enough to where I can function and that's why I keep going to Alicia' Steiner

Dr. Steiner is a joke as a dr, sorry Steiner. You don't know everything and you need to be sued for malpractice. Your front office staff are a bunch of rude.in the initial paperwork you sign it mentions to not be rude to them, yeah right. You should go back to Russia Dr, or whatever Steiner. Public, save your time and go somewhere else for your pain needs. This practice will make it worse.

Wait was 1 hour 45 minutes. The doctor didn’t listen to a thing. Very poor “bedside manner”. They didn’t even call the prescription in. The pharmacy called the office and was assured the ex would be sent by the end of day. Not so! Will definitely NOT be go back. Terrible experience!

She have poor service no air condition no Comfort Seats have you sitting for hours of time the doctors money-hungry all she wants to do is keep giving people injections then when you denied it and ask for a certain kind that you used to take them she wants to give you medication that she likes to give you almost sent me to the ER experience of things that she wants to give out she's not a specialist she just a pain management very money hungry charging people co-pays for every visits I don't have that kind of insurance or that kind of money for her to be charging my insurance company do not Attend this place bad business if you like living

Dr & Staff are all wonderful. I would referr anyone to this Dr.she is very concern about her patients.

This has to be one of the most poorly run medical offices in San Diego. The front office staff is very rude. While the doctor is nice the overall experience was terrible. I’ve never been to a professional office where they charge an extra fee to use a credit card. To rub salt in the wound when I went to pick my pain meds they put in the wrong prescription.

The front office staff Natalie was rude. I will not go back, my pain is to high to deal with rude people. Dr Steiner did not listen to my concerns. If you ever go don't deal with Natalie EVER

She's the best doctor for pain I think you'll find! Her staff is also top notch!

I was hoping by now I would be able to rate them hire because the staff and Doctors are really nice but they really don't do their jobs well and they do not care if you suffer, I have done EVERYTHING, they have ask of me including passing their Psychological evaluation and they have failed to call in my pain meds for 2 days, I am in so much Pain, I can Not walk, this is Horrible to treat your Patients this way, I have been suffering for months waiting for some pain relief and they have failed me. So sad

Dr. Steiner and her medical assistants are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are friendly and caring.

Great office staff, great doctor. She Listens and is very thorough. Staff is kind and polite. I’ve been to 2 previous pain management doctors that made me feel like running out the door. Dr. Steiners’ practice is by far a better quality of human beings who care about their careers and their patients. I feel welcome and cared for here.

I saw her years ago, around 2008-2010. She truly does care. She’s listen. It felt great for someone to acknowledge my pain and my issues and not try to down play it or assume I was faking it. But that being said I wanted to find a way to fix my issues and I felt like she over medicated the issue. I was in legit pain, but I also didn’t want to be a zombie. To be honest I’m still in pain but I’ve learned to push though. My pain tolerance is much higher. I honestly stopped seeing her because I got pregnant and felt most of what she did for me I could no longer do (meds), I wasn’t going to put my child in danger.
Beyond meds she does use great tools. She prescribed me a traction belt and a tens unit. I’d love to know how to get another traction belt, it helped so much.

Can't say of she's good or not, her office is inefficient. They told me they didn't get referral that was faxed on June 7,2021. Asked me to contact office and have it resent and they would call me as soon as they got it. I did as they asked and it's been 10 days since that and not even a whisper out of them. So all I can say is get staff sucks!

It took me years to have a MD actually see ME. To validate my pain and do more than just shake a bottle of advil at me. Although she is strict and efficient her compassion cuts through and I for one really needed that.

They really care about their patients. They actually listen to you when you tell them what's going on, how you're feeling and doing. I REFUSE TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR MY CHRONIC PAIN NEEDS!

She is amazing and attentive. Trys to come from a broad spectrum of things to help with pain relief.
