I had to go to vet for my rabbit on Saturday. I called them at 7am and they told me to call back at 8am when the doctor came. I called them again at 8am and was able to talk with the assistant who agreed to admit my rabbit for suspected GI stasis. When I arrived 20 mins later at the clinic, my rabbit was immediately admitted.

The assistant brought my rabbit to the vet to be examined and 30 mins later, the vet called me on my cell phone for her diagnosis. She recommended xray & blood work but I politely declined as my rabbit showed normal body temperature & no pain during examination. I asked if I could have some medications and would monitor my rabbit’s condition at home and the vet agreed. During the quote for the procedure & medications, I noticed that one medication that was crucial for GI stasis was not included, so I asked the vet and she agreed to give it to me (Note: I am an experienced rabbit owner for more than 15 years, so I know what medications for GI stasis from my past vet visits).

My rabbit is okay now and happy to be home. The clinic was courteous and not pushy. Good clinic during emergency.

They've helped me multiple times with guinea pigs that were sick or needed medicine and were fast and helpful each time. Recently one of my pigs suddenly suffered a heart attack and was very dying slowly and needed to be put down, they helped and were generous to help us put him down for free because it required very little medicine. Even if we had to pay for it, the bill they showed us was a very reasonable price.

Completely unprofessional and lack experience necessary to properly manage care. Their staff does not prioritize animals and keeps owners waiting for 3-4 hours to perform a simple IV and blood panel. There is other much better vets in the area.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about all the staff here! I've been 3 times for my beardie, (Squally) and all 3 times times I was treated with nothing but the best care. Not just squally, but also myself. They are caring, compassionate and loving. All the things you need when you are in a animal crisis. They took such good care of my Squally, and also me. I was an emotional mess, and Stacey and Jacob were nothing less than compassionate and understanding. Dr. Smith is amazing. Very knowledgeable and is truly the best i have came across in my time of seeing vets. There prices are actually decent and what I concider adorable. Thank you All Creatures, for handling my beardie, and me with cate and compassion! You all are a #1 recommended on my list! Thank you.

I have lived in Folsom for 12 years and have never needed a veterinarian but tonight we did. Our cat was bleeding and puking and so at 1: 30 in the morning I came to all creatures better veterinary emergency room. They were extremely reasonable with the price. Found out what the problem was and sent me home with medication for $300. I will use this place in the future if need be. Highly recommend!

Had to put my beloved cat down today and Christine helped me through the entire process. She was so compassionate and was there for me to comfort me. She was a true angel and I will forever be grateful to her and this practice for helping me through this horrible time. The doctor was very good too and there was another lady that was kind too but didn't catch her name. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

This place was great! All the employees were very nice and helpful. My dog was bleeding from chewing off a skin tag not only did they try to give me tips when I called but when I what they recommended didn’t work they were able to see me quickly! They are awesome I would definitely bring my dog back here! Again thank you to the great staff!

Zero stars if I could.
I don’t ever post bad reviews but my experience here was so appalling that it deserves to be posted.

First off, I want to say that we waited 5 HOURS for something that should’ve only taken an hour and a half and were repeatedly told it would be 15 or 20 minutes for one thing.

RABBIT OWNERS STEER CLEAR

I’ve been to multiple emergency vets and even with one doctor on call, I have never spent this insane amount of time waiting.
On top of the wait time, my rabbit with GI stasis was given opioids as pain medication. I’m sorry but opioids for a non surgical visit that only exacerbates GI stasis symptoms?
If you don’t know how to treat a rabbit say you don’t know how to treat rabbits.

He came out after 5 hours all drugged up and terrified. It was 3 am so we were all well exhausted and just wanted to go home so I didn’t realize his gut motility meds were only for 3 days when normal treatment length for stasis is 1-2 weeks. Come to find out that they don’t do refills after 24 hours.
Who gets refills after 24 hours? !? !

Standard procedure for GI stasis is pain meds, that aren’t opioids btw, gut motility medication, critical care, subq fluids, teeth check, and xray, probiotics, and simethicone being optional. We weren’t given any pain meds to take home, I don’t even know if his teeth were checked, wasn’t given the option to xray and I had to give my rabbit my baby’s simethicone because he was in so much pain.

If I wasn’t so well versed with GI stasis my sweet 10 year old bunny would be dead by now.

$500+ down the drain.
The vet apologized for the wait time, but it doesn’t make up for this horrific experience.
I feel so sorry for all the animals and pet parents that come through here

ANIMAL PARENTS BEWARE!

Paid $1,100 and waited 4 hours for them to send me home with a pain pill and no antibiotic for my cat having a painful UTI, and every time I call the lady basically tells me to call back later when the other doctor is there. Zero care in the world that our cat is still peeing blood and that we just want answers. I regret going here instead of our usual place for emergencies. Another bad experience to add to my list.

UPDATE: they replied and told us to feel free to reach out and included their number, and then denied that we ever mentioned a UTI and now won’t accept her as a patient. Going to have to pay for another place to take care of her. They also said to call back at 6 to speak with the doctor that helped us and then said he was unavailable. This place is money driven and EXTREMELY crooked, they do not genuinely care about your animals. I’m actually horrified and strongly discourage anyone from going here.

After calling 6 or 7 vets to get our cat in last night I stumbled upon all creatures phone number. They were able to get us in, evaluated, treated, and sent home within 3 hours. We are shocked how affordable the bill was with x-rays, labs, and medication. This will definitely be our go to for any emergency pet care!

This place was awesome from the very first call to get in to when we came back to pick our Ryder up. Very very knowledgeable, informative and understanding. Simply put THEY CARED! We talked to at least 6-8 ladies though getting the best for our chihuahua with his broken leg.

It was my second time here and the staff and doctor were so kind, efficient, and helpful! Their prices are very reasonable and their in and out times were great! I am so glad they are here in times of need. I am sure all of us in an emergency with our pets, our first thought about taking our pets to emergency is the wait time and the costs. This company is a breath of fresh air and very knowledgeable. Thank you All Creatures!

The Dr and staff were very helpful. Brought my mastiff Tigger in for a bladder issue and they were so nice. They instantly directed me to a 24 hour vet for his extended treatment. They are definitely on the list for a vet to take him to in an emergency.

On 4/25/23, I needed to put my chicken down after I got home from work. The Bird and Pet clinic that I normally go to closes at 6pm and they had no available appointments for that evening so they recommended the All Creatures Veterinary Clinic.

Long story short, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic has this heartbreaking policy where they don't allow owners in with the pet. It was mind blowing for me to learn of this. If my chicken could wait another day I would've left but unfortunately she was in too much pain and I couldn't bear the thought of letting her suffer another day. I didn't want my chicken to be stressed and looking at unfamiliar faces during her last moments on this earth. I was able to convince the technician to give her the injection right there in the parking lot. My poor beautiful chicken had to die with constant noise around, people walking around, laughing, cars honking, etc. I chose this over her suffering another night. The technician was very good to us and very caring and I appreciate her for agreeing to help, the front desk person was also unbelievably kind but I do not understand and never will why the doctor on duty who supposedly cares for the animals refused to allow us to give my precious chicken a comfortable and quiet place to die in a room.

Supposedly they don't have rooms available to see pets with owners next to them. Then why open up this "hospital? " This makes me question the quality of care they provide if they don't want owners to be present. I feel that a doctor shouldn't be treating animals if he/she mandates this rule that owners have to leave their pet in their care for medical treatment or euthanasia. It's stressful enough for a pet to be there, let alone to not see their owner next to them. If you have a choice, go to another vet clinic. I give 5 stars to the front desk person and technician and 0 stars to the doctor.

I’m from Reno and unfortunately we have a huge lack of avian vets in our town, especially for emergency cases. I called them and explained what was going on with my bird, who had gotten attacked by a cat and was in critical condition. They told me to bring him in immediately and were very attentive and quick to get him in. The staff helped accommodate me with my long drive, recommending the best care for my bird and how I should go about treating him due to the distance. I opted to do hospitalization with them and the vet tech Laura gave me detailed updates whenever I called, and genuinely seemed to care about my birds health. I appreciate so much the care that Dr. LaRue and Laura showed my little Goob. Within 24 hours, he perked up and was climbing all over his cage again. Now he is getting back to his normal self and I’m extremely grateful. Thank you so much All Creatures Vet, you saved my bird and he is happy as can be.

This place was so good to my rabbit. They were able to help him feel better fast with GI stasis. The doctor and the other workers are great here. Thank you so much for saving my rabbit.

You may get sent here because there are no other vets available but please dont waste your time coming here! All they want is your money. My dog had vaccines a few days ago and was very sick the past few days. I called them because she was hyperventilating and they told me to bring her in. $150 for the exam which was fine. The lady said she needed 2 view Xrays.that was gonna cost $575. I was questioning her on what the Xrays will do because that didn’t include treatment. The lady was getting irritated. She told me she would ask the doctor if theres anything else he can do without the Xrays and she went inside and put her hands up very aggressively to her co worker, stating that she was annoyed. I seen her do it from the door. She then jumped from 2views for 575 to one view for 130! Huge price jump huh. They were very rude and dont care about animals. The doctor is an idiot and kept telling me thw possibilities of what may be wrong, scaring me instead of getting to the point. The lady put on the paper “ finances were an issue so only one view”. Finances were not an issue but I am not going to pay for something that we do not need. As I said, we didnt need them. Of course they didnt end up finding anything in the Xrays, because it was SIDE EFFECTS FEOM HER VACCINES LIKE I WAS TELLING ALL OF THEM.
