I rarely write reviews, but All Los Angeles Painting did such an amazing job, I have to review them. I’m not the easiest client, but Alan was accommodating, patient, and responsive. He provided my estimate over the phone and explained everything. The day the job started, Alan’s crew arrived exactly at 8 am. There were some last minute changes due to my decorator, but they took it all in stride. Alan and his team was pleasant the whole time. Most importantly, they did a quick and perfect job on my condo.

All Los Angeles Painting has been nothing but professional, attentive to detail and accommodating to our schedule all while producing really wonderful work. His crew is extremely talented & professional. We've had the pleasure of working with them for several projects now, and only have had wonderful experiences!

I recently hired Alan and his team for my boss's home renovation project, and I have to say I am extremely satisfied with their work. They were punctual, professional, and efficient. They paid close attention to detail and made sure that the job was done to our exact specifications. The quality of their work was outstanding, and they left the home looking brand new, they really exceeded my expectations! 5 stars all around!

I found All Los Angeles Painting Company 7 years ago when we moved into our house. Alan and his guys did a fantastic job on the interior for us. The edges were crisp, the paint is even and full on the walls. They took the time to do the prep work and it shows. Alan even had a rep from Sherwin Williams to work with us on the colors. We were really happy about how the paint job turned out.

We are doing major renovation for our house and naturally I gave Alan a call. We have a general contractor who wants to use his own painter due to budget and other concerns so initially it did not work out with Alan. However, Alan is very generous with his time and knowledge that he would still advise us on what's the right way of doing the paint job.

This is what bad paint job by other painter looks like: The mud and tape work by the gc's painter was decent. But the problems started showing up when they paint. We notice they do not do a lot of prep work. There was minimal sanding and masking. The paint on the edges were sloppy. After two coats of paint, the paint was still not full on the wall. They did another coat and it looked better. However, the real issues are with the doors and trims where the prep work and skills matter. We have new window casings in the kitchen, existing doors, new doors and wainscoting where poor prep work made the painted surface look horrible. They painted the existing doors over the construction dusts! No sanding on the new window casing, handrail, wainscoting. It looked worse than an average apartment grade paint job. They tried to make it right but still not much better.

I was so disappointed and frustrated by the paint job from the general contractor. This is where Alan showed up with his superpower. Alan provided much needed support and knew he could do the paint job right. I had to hire Alan to make the paint better. They did a lot of sanding on the doors and casings - strip away two coats of paint to clean up the dusts underneath. They were able to use bondo and their magic to repair our doorway that was not protected and badly banged up during construction. It took a lot of manpower to sand, bondo, proper masking to make the details look so much better. My brand new upper cabinet was scratched and dinged up during vent hood installation. Alan's guy was able to sand it, spray paint 3 coats and it looks like nothing happened. The guys also sanded primed and painted the the exterior fascia properly.

Alan works a little differently from most of the paint companies out there. Most painting companies would give you an all inclusive price for the job. Alan charges by the guys he send out to do the job. Customer pays for all the supplies and paint with his contractor pricing. So essentially he just charges for his skilled labor. It may seem like his charges are a lot higher than the other companies. But trust me, he knows how to paint the right way. The finished paint job is a guaranteed success and frustration free. Alan has been doing this for over 30 years and some of his guys are with him for 20 and 30 years. The same guys worked on our house 7 years ago are working on our house this time around.

Everything is done over the phone and pictures via texts this time around. I was able to tell Alan my goal for the paint job and he gave me an estimate on how many guys we will need and for how many days. It may seem sketchy but it works when Alan is so experienced. They have the skills to make the paint job perfect, which means it will take more time and that equals more money. The first day a guy was spending a whole moring sanding a door frame. I did not need that door frame to be perfect. Just need it to be 80% so it's still better than the bad paint job. So I told Alan my goal and the guys were able to go faster to achieve what we really need to happen.

It's a long review because I've been through a lot during this renovation. I would highly recommend Alan and All Los Angeles Painting Company to anyone who cares about craftsmanship and to do things right the first time.
