I had such a wonderful High Tea here today! The owner was so sweet and knowledgeable, she even stayed around for a bit chatting with my friend and I. I highly recommend this place, it was a great experience!

Honestly, great tea. But it's never open. 4 hours a day, 5 days a week? What a waste. Would love some more tea, in the area quite often, but it's never open. Almost seems like a shuttered business, has a negative vibe, likely old money keeping it afloat. Meh. (Also the food in all the pictures is misleading, they only have tea at the ready, not fare for an impromptu tea party.)

The lady at the counter was extremely rude. My daughter and I were treated as if we were imposing on her. If it were not for the chef whom came and greeted us kindly. We would have left. I will never go or recommend this place.

The food and the tea were fine enough and the waiter was very nice BUT, was informed upon paying there was an additional charge for using a credit card. I've never heard this in a food establishment. I was informed I could pay cash or write a check. A check? What is this, 1999? My apologies to the friendly waiter but I deducted the service charge from her tip. This is some bad business practice.

We walked in and were told it was reservations only, which we did not have. (online it states they are strongly recommended. Nowhere does is state they are required). They did give us a seat outside. Our server whom I unfortunately forgot the name of, is wonderful, she made us feel welcome after initially getting the vibe that we weren't. We opted to do the afternoon tea for 2. It was absolutely delightful. I've read a couple reviews saying service is slow. I will say, yes it is slower than your average restaurant, but it's not a fast food establishment or a typical eatery. Enjoying a tea service like they offer should be an experience, taken slowly and enjoyed with good conversation with whomever you have with you. For me that was my pre-teen son who really enjoyed everything as well, and suggested we go back again soon.

My granddaughter and I had a lovely time here! The food was AMAZING, DELICIOUS, SPECTACULAR! And there were SCRUMPTIOUS gluten-free options also! Couldn’t have been better!

I've been there several times. Enjoyed every one of them. Always made a reservation. It is a small speciality business not a major restaurant chain so a reservation is a must for a good experience.

The egg nog scone had morsels of tantalizing cranberries. The tea ware was exquisitely opulent.
The tea service includes a pot of tea, scone, one sandwich choice and dessert. (if I could change one thing, would be to offer more than one choice)
The ambience was delicate with jazzy music playing in the background. Subdued lighting from the sunny afternoon peaked through the windows. The perfect venue for an afternoon break from all the shopping.
The venue accommodates a table for 6, a table for 4 and a table for 2 indoors at one time. And there are four tables in the patio. This place is perfect for lady gathering. Or an afternoon date.
I ordered the "Noel" flavor, this tea had an oaky finish with hints of savory that hits your palate in the front. It is served hot (but you have a choice of cold, although I would not recommend that)
I chose the succulent and palatable tuna curry sandwich. And I was given at least 5 choices for dessert, I chose the lemon bundt mini cake. It was so much food, the mini cake came home with me. I will definitely return to try the other sandwich and desserts.
They are European vs Victorian, wearing a hat is optional.
Donna was prompt in offering a 1pm appt.and perfectly frank about the establishment's busiest times over the phone.
Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable.
Dress code- it's a tea house don't dress frumpy. Everyone visiting that afternoon wore dressy Christmas classy which added to the festive Decorum.
Cutlery was impeccably clean and quaint.

Delightful experience. Enjoyed the tea sandwiches, warm scone, variety of desserts. Of course the tea. I had strawberry tea. Excellent!
