Nice family restaurant. Great selection of Mexican cuisine. And the margaritas are fantastic.

New review Sunday, 3/6 - I have never experienced anything like this at this restaurant. I think the ladies there are new. The one that served us was excellent but there was one that did a lot of screaming. When people would arrive she would scream from the cashier station to the people asking FOR HOW MANY? Really loud! I thought that was so rude and distracting for us (the customers) to enjoy our stay. Also, they would throw the empty bottles in the trash can making a loud breaking noise. I don't it was just a different experience all together.

I like their fried beans with cheese and the Spanish rice very nice and neat clean restaurant the salsa is very delicious and the stuff green Chile with sauce

Dined in, staff was nice, atmosphere was great, cute little place. Big plates, fair price.

Visited this hidden gem while on vacation. The food was so good, I ate way too much. I had Tampequeno, which was two cheese enchiladas and a cut of Carne asada with rice and beans. I almost cleaned the plate. Wife had a combo she liked the verde enchilada. Kids both ate well, which is a definite sign of good food, they're picky. Boy had burger and fries. I thought it was nice they had that for the kids. Daughter had a flauta plate and ate almost all 3! Carolina was so kind and got us all we needed with gracious service. We'll be back for sure when in town next. If you live in town, make this your spot. The food is fantastic.

From LA out in indio taking care of some family matters felt like having some Mexican food nearby found this place. I must say food was delicious atmosphere was great had a lil music going on service on point most definitely when we are back in the area we will enjoy another delicious plate of food

Very nice that they now have a bar. Been coming to Allende for 35+ years. Love it! Food for every palate. You will come back over and over.

Was in from out of town for my bday. Randomly stumbled upon this GEM. Blown entirely away by the staff and the food. Maria was incredible! We would 1 million percent over come back again when we visit. TY Maria!

Food was excellent and prices even better. Service was prompt, my food was ready very fast. I definitely recommend this place.

Made a phone order, combination plate taco, chicken enchilada and a chili relleno. Asked how much time for my order? From 5 to 10 minutes. Got there received a nice welcome, with a smile, my food was ready, and was well-prepared great flavor. The last time I was here everything was great today? What happened? Just placing my order without being over charged, where are my original hostes? Something just isn't rite. Will I be back?

The food was delicious I haven't been here for awhile but I decided to go have brunch with my family service could have been better very short staffed but was worth the wait highly recommend for good Mexican food just be prepared to wait for food and service

Dined in for the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas. Fajitas and flour tortillas were delicious with everything cooked well. Service from the waitress wasn't great with the silverware and extra chips forgotten a few times. However, I would go back for the food.

Beef and shrimp fajitas sizzling hot and delicious. Tacos de Cabeza were excellent. Our Chavelas w/ Modelo Negra awesome. Our waitress excellent customer service. 5+

Like other have said it’s OK for the price. I will echo other comments here and say their chavelas are watered down, I don’t think they pour a full beer in their chavelas…. (Don’t get a chavela)

The food is really good. If you go early in the day you get excellent service. Unfortunately the younger servers maybe need a little more experience on how to provide better service.
