I had to order a sympathy plant from Texas where I live for family in Alvarado Estates. My family sent a picture of it and I was thrilled. It exceeded my expectations, which never seems to happen when I order from out of town. They seem to have a very good reputation for very good reason.

UNSURPASSED Customer Service! I live in Las Vegas and had to order flowers for a funeral service in San Diego. I called the church and they recommended Allen's Flowers & Plants in La Mesa. Allen's came highly recommended from the church so I decided to go with them and I was extremely pleased with the service and the product. My rep was Mickey and she was very friendly, efficient, and patient. Mickey walked me through the different categories on the website and was very knowledgeable about the arrangements and gave me her opinion on which arrangements she thought would be suitable for the occasion. Mickey suggested "A Loving Tribute" and I took her suggestion. Mickey thanked me for my order, sent a confirmation email right away, and informed me that I would get another email to confirm the flowers were delivered and I did. This was wonderful because I didn't have to worry about whether the flowers were delivered on time or to the right place. The family was blown over by the arrangement and so was I when they sent me a picture. The flowers were more beautiful in person and surpassed all my expectations. I have enclosed a picture so you can see what "A Loving Tribute" looks like. Also, I would like to add that I placed the order the day before the funeral and they were able to fulfill the order without any flaws!

I would definitely recommend Allen's Flowers & Plants if you want awesome customer service, beautiful flower arrangements, and a business that does exactly what they say they are going to do!

I ordered a Valentine's Day package for my wife for her favorite day, and it supposed to come with a rose inside the package. Unfortunately, they forgot to put the rose inside the package. It's so funny that you order a flower package from a flower shop but there is no flower inside the box. They wanted to work with me and refund that MISSING ITEM (1 rose= $5-$10) but the thing is it was the valentine's day and actually, it ruined the whole surprise I was planning for her. It was my fault trusting this business. I hope this review helps other people to seek more flower shop options for their loved ones.

This place made a custom arrangement for me that was stunning! Truly the best florist in San Diego.

Called the La Mesa shop and ordered an arrangement for a work celebration for my daughter. I referenced an arrangement that I liked, with the changes I wanted within my price point. They were delivered today, and I am so pleased! (I have ordered from Allen's for my mother-in-law, but never saw the arrangement). I definitely recommend @allensflowerslamesa.

They DID an AMAZING job. Quick simple arrangement in moments. Friendly service. First time in this shop. Definitely plan on visiting again. I gave them my price range and the arrangement was PERFECT!

I cannot recommend this shop more highly. Mario came through after the florist I had originally contacted said they wouldn’t be able to deliver our flowers until a day later. Mario assured us he’d have them that same day prior to the viewing as well.

The staff was very helpful in assembling a traditional arrangement for a friend who recently passed away.

I have had numerous good experiences at Allen's, however this last experience was sub par. My husband ordered me flowers a couple of weeks ago and paid extra for rush delivery by a certain hour of the day. First of all, they got delivered to the wrong house, which made them "late. " Luckily my neighbor called me and I was able to retrieve them. Then, the flowers had not even bloomed yet. What the heck is the point? ! They did not bloom for 2 days and before they bloomed they began to wilt. Sorely disappointed.

I was not exactly sure if I was going to write a review. I have been a loyal returning customer of Allen's Flowers since 2016. All of the Flowers I have received have been beyond beautiful. The last delivery I had was no different from the other flowers I've had, they were bright beautiful and Big. I take good care of my flowers but the flowers died way to soon. I am lucky enough to have AC in my home therefore it was not a head issue that made my flowers dye so soon and cause the greenery on my plants to have holes and look moldy. I am beyond disappointed in the quality of my flowers.

I decided to buy some flowers for Mother’s Day and the quality of the flowers is amazing! Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Pride definitely worth my mom’s tears of joy! Was delivered to my door and I’m so satisfied, flowers are fresh and gorgeous thank you Allen’s flowers

I used to really love this flower shop but since the old staff moved and they have new employees working there I just don't find the atmosphere as friendly as it use to be it's sad.
