AllWater Fishing Charters, Newport Beach

I don’t know if they went out of business or if this is a scam, but we had the complete opposite treatment that these other good reviews are citing.

Two days ago, the night before our scheduled departure we called and texted to confirm our charter. No answer, so we left a voicemail and decided to wait until the morning. No big deal there. The morning of at ~5: 30am we called again, multiple times, to check in on our captain and boat. Keep in mind we did not receive any email updates other than the booking confirmation. To our surprise, no answer. Come our departure time at 6am we keep calling and sent out texts to both numbers, still no answer. We arrived at both locations in Newport and turns out that one of them brought us to this fishing shop that had no appearance of AllWater Charters whatsoever. It was as if Captain “Marc” or “Ryan” never even existed nor the company, even though there’s an active voicemail on the other side of their -0503 number. Our texts and calls went completely unanswered and at this point we decided to do some research online and found some very similar stories from other family victims from ~1 year ago (check the Dana Point location reviews).

Please do not give your money to this company, it is astonishing how they’re still appearing as a legitimate company online and we plan on reporting this company to the BBB/suing when possible. To this day we still haven’t gotten any return calls, emails nor texts.

Went deep sea fishing with Mark and Ryan. We had our 7 year old son and it was his first time fishing. We had really good action catching bass most of the afternoon.

Ahi Nui owner and Capt. Chris is the best 4-pack charter in Southern California. He is there for all passengers onboard making sure he gets you on the bite and burning fuel to get you there. If you have back problems he's got bean bag that are really comfortable. It's just that he fishes hard and has a great personality to make your experience the best. We are already setting up another trip with Chris. Thanks for the fantastic trip and God Bless You Brother
