Beautiful park with great trails to walk around the lake. Good place to have BBQ. Also they have been having Foreworks here each year during July 4th!

Great trail. Clear markers so I know the mileage I'm covering. Lots of people around exercising. Very positive space.

Beautiful lake park to spend a summer evening! Lots of parking, and get together places.many spots for barbeque that you can pre book.or sit on the garden grass to relax among the birds.park has a beautiful trail to run/walk as well.has drinking water and toilet facilities. Toilets were smelly though, takes off one star from the review. But, must go place!

Great playgrounds on both sides of the lake, one includes a small water play feature. Great walking trails with amazing wildlife. The con? A polluted lake filled with mercury. Also goose poop EVERYWHERE.

Nice park. Paid parking is a drag, and very full. Park is heavily used but clean enough. Restrooms are ok for a public park. It will be nicer in 10 years when more shade trees grow up.

Needs more shaded areas with BBQ pits. We had the area close to the bathrooms thank goodness. It would be a long walk unless other bathrooms I didn't see. Otherwise great spot!

Good place for an evening walk. When there is a public event I Suggest to go via Winfield Blvd entrance.

Parking lot is a distance to walk when opposite corner parking is full or utilized for an event

Not many trees on the trail along the lake. Parking is not free and the park is not really well maintained.

Really enjoy my walks at Park/Lake Almaden. There is a great section for kids. There is Bocce Ball too. Also great for birthday parties you just need to call for reservation

The picnic areas are far from the restrooms so you have to plan accordingly. It's a challenge getting my family members with limited mobility back and forth, especially having to avoid all the goose poop. We probably won't go there again.

Lovely city park with great views, many picnic areas that can be reserved for events. Great loop trail around the lake. Beach and boating currently closed. Family friendly.

The water is useless due to bacteria levels. So no fishing and swimming for dogs or humans but paddle boarding is just fine.

Very spread out park. Lanes fir walking or cyclists, a playground with bathrooms on one side, picnic areas, and a Bocce ball court on the other side.

Beautiful park to stroll around and enjoy the view of the lake! No fishing and there used to be boat rentals, not sure if they're still allowed. If you go to the Southeast point, you can go to longer Almaden trails.

Vasona park is beautiful in all four seasons. One time one of the staff was driving around hanging out trash bags to make sure there park will stay clean. There's too many geese and their feces but that's just nature

We had a nice lunch with the breeze coming off the lake on a hot day watching the animals doing their thing.

Great park with plenty of play structures, picnic areas, walking trails and.a lake. There's a small beach but we didn't visit. There is a parking fee but during our visit it didn't see to be enforced. I believe there's an entrance fee during certain times of year.

Big pretty park with bad logistics for parking and exit. Great location and I hope they can work out their routing issues to ensure smooth visits by all.

It's beautiful but April 15th I was there for the twins 1st birthday party and wanted to help the family set up before the guests arrived. My foot got caught in a gopher hole and I started to fall and crashed into the wood fence. I broke my wrist, lost a week of work and wrote the City of San Jose about it. So go people, it's lovely. Just WATCH YOUR STEP!
