After almost 10 years it was phenomenal to take another lesson with Nick, from LA to Hawaii where he was born and raised! Amazing experience surfing with someone who knows the ocean so well. Available, super nice and approachable. Experience not to be missed. Until next time man

I have a little surfing experience before, and I will take surfing lessons when I have the opportunity to travel! I will continue to learn from the aloha brothers in the future~

I was looking for a surf school in Venice and luckily a friend recommended Nick's to me, he is very nice and speaks French fluently.
I always wanted to learn to surf and finally I took 3 lessons with a friend and my 16 year old godson visiting LA.
I was lucky to have Sean as a coach, he is adorable, patient and efficient! I was a little scared at first but he was able to reassure me, thanks to him my dream came true and I continue to surf.
I highly recommend this school, regardless of your level and physical fitness.

Nick is a very responsible and attentive coach. I took several classes with him in Hawaii and at Venice Beach. During this period, he not only gave me suggestions for improvement, but more importantly, taught me how to protect myself and avoid injuries in the sport of surfing. I highly recommend him to everyone, he's given me an exciting new hobby!

A friend took me to learn surfing in Hawaii with Nick. He patiently taught me the basic movements of surfing and chose the beach that was most suitable for me based on my level. What's even more impressive is that Nick is a coach who pays great attention to the safety of students' sports. Therefore, during my lessons with him, I not only fully enjoyed surfing, but also learned a lot about how to keep myself safe while surfing.
I highly recommend anyone who wants to learn surfing seriously and systematically to take lessons with Nick. He is also very talkative and the lessons are very interesting!

Fantastic experience! Nick was so helpful when I had to reschedule two days out, and my instructor Sean had 11 years of experience which made me feel incredibly comfortable on the waves. The group class size (5) was perfect and I never felt overwhelmed by the waves or unsafe. Thank you Aloha Brothers!

My partner and I went out with Sean today and it was such a blast. We took a lesson before with a different company, but Sean was far and away a better teacher. We felt very comfortable and received a ton of individual attention. We will absolutely be back for another lesson!

I've been wanting to surf for the longest time but had issues with scheduling. Nick was really patient and helpful! We finally made it work and I was set up with David as an instructor and two other people in a group. I had a tremendous amount of fun and stood up more times than I thought I would:) I'd recommend them to anyone who is thinking or wanting to surf. They provide great feedback every time you catch a wave to finally get you where you want to be. Great owner, great instructor, great group. What more can you ask for! Thanks guys B)

Had a blast surfing with Aloha Brothers on 7/27/23. I decided to book the lesson on a whim and Nick was very responsive and got me out onto the water 2 days later. I booked a private lesson and it was absolutely worth it. It was my first time surfing so I was a bit apprehensive about whether I’d be able to catch any waves. My instructor Sean was lovely - so personable and encouraging. He did a great job setting me up with the right board and heading to a location that had waves appropriate for my skill level. I left the session feeling enthusiastic and confident. I’m hoping to bring my spouse back for a lesson soon so that we can learn together! 10/10 will be back ASAP.

I absolutely loved Aloha Brothers Surf Lessons! I have referred 2 more groups of people to them since my lesson. It was my first time surfing, and Shawn was an incredible instructor. We had so much fun and cannot wait to go again.

I had the best experience with the Aloha Brothers! Nick was so quick to respond to our inquiry and was very organized. He gave easy and detailed instructions to set up a private lesson. Our instructor, Sean, was the most personable guy you could imagine. He was so patient and fun! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and look forward to doing another lesson soon!

I highly recommend for surf lessons in Venice Beach. They are highly responsive and friendly. My instructor was very helpful and patient as I’m a beginner. Not a lot of time on the beach and in the water for the majority of the lesson which is good. There is a walk to the beach so don’t bring personal items. You can use their wetsuit and board which is helpful too! I’ll definitely be booking again.
