I am editing my review and giving them a 4 star Review. I was contacted by a very nice lady in the business office and received an apology and given a refund.

I want to report what I feel are unfair business practices against Alta Pest Control Company. They charged me a regular quarterly fee in early September. Later that month I received a letter in the mail stating that they were going to start billing monthly. Then in early October they charged me the monthly fee. I asked about what about the quarterly three months I had already pad and they stated that was some kind of maintenance fee? When I asked for a refund of the October charge they stated that they won’t refund it because they told us by mail that they would be starting monthly billing. I still haven’t had anyone spray for the last 4 months? Ugh, sorry it’s so long, I’m really frustrated?

I was really excited to book with Alta as I am pregnant and trying to get rid of everything toxic in my house that I can. The first phone call went really well, and I was excited for the appointment that we had scheduled. Whenever the appointment date arrived, my tech came out and was extremely nice but could not do anything because they had failed to send me instructions saying that I needed to have everything off my counters and out of my kitchen in order to be sprayed, so my tech decided that it would be best to just reschedule. So I waited to make the next appointment because I wasn’t available while I was working and I set a following appointment for a few weeks later. I called to schedule the appointment but no one answered so I left a voicemail. Not only did they schedule me my appointment for the next morning at 8 am but they didn’t even as me if I was available at that time nor did they confirm the appointment with me at all. And so I try to reschedule but it’s too late and of course they are not answering their calls so I don’t get through to them. The next morning, the tech arrives but we’re unable to do anything yet again because I was given less than 12 HOURS notice before the scheduled appointment that they didn’t even ask if it worked with me or confirm with me. So at this point I’m a little upset. But then to top it all off, I log into the portal and realized I had been charged $250 for the initial visit + 45 for a roach treatment and an additional 250 for the following visit and a 45 dollar roach charge. So now I’m very upset. Not only has this company failed to get rid of the problems that I’m having, they have charged me well over 500+ for the services that I never received. I have called and left voicemails, I have emailed, and no one has contacted me once. I’m hoping for a refund, but so far no one has tried emailing me to come to any help. All I want is the roach treatment plan cancelled and a refund on the money that I spent that was used to help nothing at all. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. UPDATE: Now they are asking for $299 more from me for canceling. I’m at a loss for words for how incredibly terrible this company is. Hopefully people can read this review and save themselves the time/money that I didn’t. Truly terrible place.

I answered an add from Facebook, they were VERY addamant about me getting a pest control application wy are aith them, I told them I just had one last week, they said if you get another we give you another discount, so I said OK, they immediately started draining my bank account and once I noticed and tried to canceled they are asking 309 on top of the 177 they took, has anyone paid that much for ONE application before? And the tech took my debit card information so they started without my consent getting into my bank, OMG someone call me to tell me to estabish ground rules.sorry but I am not your child, serioulsy? The only solution is you send my bill to collections because I am not paying your ridiculos bill.also after your techs got her I got ticks and mice

I liked Dillion. He was thoughtful and seemed knowledgeable. We spoke over the phone and I asked him to spray inside prior to our moving in; he sprayed all the closets, the entries, and the garage. Although I asked him to go ahead and start while I was on my way, as soon as I arrived he was waiting at the front door to do the inside. After completing the inside, he resumed doing the outside. It was thoughtful of him to allow me to get back to work. Good stuff!

Alta is always very polite, professional, and takes care of any wasp nests and mud dobber nests. We live out “in the country” and we very rarely get any insects in the house. Alta does a great job for us at a reasonable price.

They are very responsive if you have any pest problems. If you need extra treatments at anytime they will come back out at no extra charge. Their teams are very professional & will work out any problems you may have with insects.

Griffin was very professional and on time.called me to let me know he was there to service the property and informed me he would text me when he finished, which he Did.just had first service today so I'm unsure of the results as of yet, but I'm extremely optimistic, thanks again Griffin

Tyler, the owner of the company, responded quickly and promptly to all of my questions and requests. I had never needed pest service in the past, nor did I want any due to all of the complaints from friends and neighbors of how it doesn’t make a difference. Well let me tell you, after picking through dozens of ticks on my dog, and getting eaten up by mosquitoes during the cool spring/summer nights I had enough. I needed something to change and I absolutely was not going to spend the money myself to get some chemical that’s harmful for my dog or my children. I called Tyler because he was recommended by a friend, and honestly I was nervous. I didn’t know how they could guarantee any pest removal like he said they could, or how any of the chemicals could be harmless to animals or small children. It’s been 2 months and I’m blown away. Not one tick or mosquito bite anywhere near my property! And another thing, they knocked down dozens of spider and wasp nests that I had no clue were even on my house! Incredible! I feel like I underpaid for such a premium service. I cannot express my gratitude enough, they were timely, efficient, COMPETITIVE if not BETTER pricing than any local pest service, and I feel confident to say I will be pest free for the rest of my time as a homeowner. Thank you Alta, and thank you Tyler! I will never stop referring this company and their services. You now have a life long and loyal client:)
