Alice Mitchell at Alta Vista Credit Union is the best. She is always the most welcoming, knowledgeable, and just plain wonderful person to deal with at the Redlands Branch. She's been there for as long as I can remember (which is rare in banking) and I hope she never leaves. Thank you Alice for your many years of outstanding service and for being the wonderful human being that you always are. Alta Vista is lucky to have you and so are it's members.

I have been banking with the Redlands branch for 13 years. The number one reason is the people who work there. From the people who handle your business in the call center to management. Never I have worked with a group of people who will truly go out of their way to help, listen, and get creative with any issues you present to them to help solve, resolve, or make allowances for your banking needs. A special shout out to Ben and Micheal who are both department managers. 2 people who have gone over and above the call of duty when a special situation calls for their personal assistance. Other banks brands wouldn’t give you the time or effort to help earn, maintain, or appreciate maintaining a member’s business. Another shout out is to Alice. When she’s there, you are greeted with a hello and addressed by your 1st name. She is also your first line of assistance in the branch, and always gets you where you need to go for help! Thanks for ALL your assistance, really love you guys!

Someone stole my identity and tried to get a loan from here. When I received notification of activity I called them immediately and explained the situation. I was told there was nothing they would do to contact the credit bureaus

If you're looking for the best Credit Union/ banking institution in the Inland Empire you found it! Customer service starts with a sincere smile & welcome from Alice. I had a lot of questions before I opened an account. All of the staff that I talked with did an excellent job of addressing my needs & concerns. In my life I have always looked for mutually beneficial situations in the deeds & actions of myself & others. I believe that Alta Vista is working with me as a partner for the best possible outcome for us both.

You are in the best hands if Benjamin Lopez is assisting you. I cannot speak highly enough about him! His customer service and attention to detail is above and beyond all expectations.

I tried to close my accounts in 2019 to go overseas and work with US military as I have done for 20 years. I was told I must talk to a Ms Stephanie. She told me I could not close my accounts but had no explanation! I tried countless ways to access my app, contact by phone with 14 hours time difference, letter to the President and emails. No Responses!
Now, in 2023, Mr Benjamin Lopez replied to my phone call and very professionally and efficiently closed my accounts! It took a scam via Discover credit card paying my Alta vista account incorrectly that over drew my accounts to obtain a real person to help me close the accounts! I have lost countless money due to this criminal act.
I hope the CU rewards Mr Benjamin Lopez! He is a valuable, honest and conscientious employee. Wish the world and CA had more people like him!
The CA business entity needs to investigate these criminal actions!

Benjamin Lopez at the Redlands branch is a real one. The past few months have been really challenging for me. I’m in the middle of a messy divorce and recently lost my job. I’ve got 2 loans with Alta Vista and was scared my spotless credit was finally going to start taking hits.

Then I got in touch with Ben. After submitting a few forms, he was able to help me skip a couple of payments and got me the peace of mind I need to focus on my next few interviews instead of stressing about the bills.

This level of customer service and care is really hard to come by… Thanks Ben.

I have had an auto loan with Alta Vista for about 3 years now, they have been wonderful from the start, my family has been with this credit union for many years. With today's world/economy times have been really rough for a single income family of four. Alta Vista and especially Benjamin Lopez has been so kind-hearted and gracious with my situation, making me feel seen and heard. Any other bank would have faulted me or dropped me completely with the financial hardships, whilst Ben continued to cooperate with me and hear what's happening in my life, and we always have a goal in mind to get things achieved. I had a severe issue with my auto loan, and they have gone above and beyond to help me with my problem, even working after hours to assist. Steer clear, Alta vista might as well be another Wells Fargo every time I send my car payment through the mail they claim they never received it. When I try to pay it online their site ironically is down as well. When I call for apparently have a delinquent account they give me the run around. I can’t wait to finish my payments with a shitbox of a credit union
