I see from multiple reviews that after Greystar PM took charge, the place went south. Me and my husband decided to APPLY to live here (we have never lived here) back in February of 2022. They took about 2 weeks to reply back to us and bypassed their own 72 hour period to reply back from both parties to get the holding deposit back. I placed many requests on their portal within those 72 hours to cancel the application as we got an apartment elsewhere 24 hours after applying here but apparently they’re not able to see those applicant portal requests. Fine. I disputes with my financial institution and Altair sent them the application. I explained to my FI that they didn’t respect the 72 hour policy and provided proof: phone calls, messages, emails, etc.so my FI reopened the claim as they ruled in my favor and what did Altair do? Threatened to send the amount to collections instead of fighting back or providing evidence that went against me (they had none obviously). This became an extreme headache since 1. I never moved in there 2. They were not reachable by phone or email 3. My husband is in the military and we can’t have collection records. I canceled the dispute to not go into collections. I paid the $562 from the deposit and they kept it. I thought it was the end of things… WRONG! I paid RVMSD property management and when Greystar took over they also sent me an invoice? For the holding deposit amount? I was so confused. I called the representative I was assigned, but she has lied and avoided me. I went in person to the manager and she gave me the wrong email on purpose and denied to talk to me on the spot. I sent a BBB complaint and when they gave me the regionals email… she changed it! LMAO. I have been promised to have this issue fixed multiple times with zero resolution. I have provided proof to this people that I already paid once for a place I never lived in, breached their own contract, and will NOT pay them again.
Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. It is not worth it to be honest… take it from a person who didn’t even get to live there and is dealing with their PMC 11 months later. Unfortunately, I’ll have to escalate things to the court room to have this sorted out.

This place may look nice but they are horrible and overpriced
They did the bare minimum to our apartment when we moved in basically just replaced the carpet that's it. The appliances were old and clearly used not even cleaned. We are upstairs and the guest bathroom has absolutely no water pressure had the maintenance guy there the 2nd week it didn't fix anything. It will literally go down to a drizzle while I'm in it. They have hassled us over our dog whom is a certified service dog but they also want a letter from a vet and vet records. I have never dealt with this with any other place I've lived, I give them the letter no further questions asked. We'll be moving out as soon as our lease is up. Just not worth it.
Also, don't even think about using the thermostat it doesn't work and you'll just end up getting a bill that's just as much as your rent.

Nice complex but don't expect them to pay anything you have to pay.pest control, parking, gas and electric, water, trash, cable tv.

This place is a scam. They take your money when you move out, charge you for extra things that you didn't do just so they don't have to pay for things out of pocket but make the tenants pay for it. Then they don't even answer your calls or emails.
HORRIBLE PLACE TO RENT. AVOID at all costs!

Don't do it. DO NOT do it. Please just trust me on this one. Management has gone south since Eric left. The women in the office? Cold, greedy, power hungry, you name it. Even if you leave your apartment spotless upon move out, kiss that deposit goodbye my friend, these people only care about one thing: money. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere.

Don’t do it. These homes were terribly made. Rent may be cheap but the AC “runs” but it says it’s at a temperature that it really isn’t. There’s no ventilation in the bathrooms. Homeless people roam the property and break into the mailboxes. Costing your time and gas to go pick it up from the station. You won’t feel safe if you have children. Not to mention you can hear absolutely everything going on outside. No such thing as peace and quiet even over a tv playing. The pool areas are always trashed. Don’t recommend.

The only good thing is the maintenance man but he can’t fix poor construction. As I said, just don’t do it.

Truthfully I loved these apartments. The insides were just like a photos. Parking wasn’t bad for someone who works 9-5 and works 30 minutes away. Every time we needed some maintenance done, they would right away. It’s by target, Albertsons, a bunch of food places, and it’s very close to the freeway. My only issue with this place was my neighbors. We had kids on top of us that would be run away and cry a lot and we had a family next to us that would argue extremely loud every other day. They were very nice to us but we could hear every single thing that went on in their apartments. Personally I feel like the leasing managers couldn’t do anything about it, it’s either a hit or miss when it comes to living in apartments and having to deal with others around you. I would’ve definitely stayed here but changed my apartment to different unit, if I didn’t have to move. But I would recommend these apartments but stay away from 1500s apartment.

It's a very nice complex. I just was dissapointed the rent went up so much after my first year lease ended.i am afraid the next lease after my second year may go up again and price me out of the complex.
