The Alum Rock Animal Hospital staff listens to all of my concerns and has awesome customer service just like Bloom Plaza Animal Hospital. I think both hospitals are equally proficient. I give Alum Rock Animal Hospital high marks because they almost always answer the phone even when they are busy.

We have been taking our 2 yr old rotti here since he was a puppy and they have always done a good job with him.

Great friendly service got right to the point wasted no time we were in and out in no time

It’s nice to have a vet that’s open 7 days a week that isn’t charging you through the roof. I have used this place a few times for my chihuahua and for my cats in the past. There always helpful and friendly.

Our beagle's regular vet did not have openings, so they referred us to Alum Rock Animal Hospital. This place was great. The staff was very friendly and explained things very well to us they took great care of our beagle. We also learned they offer boarding, which we are very interested in looking into. They offered great care and we're very reasonable in price. I was very impressed with them and will definitely bring my dog back

The Doctors are excellent as well as the staff. I really feel comfortable with them taking care of my cat.

Even though they were super busy & had 2 surgeries scheduled, they saw & treated our kitten (Kerr) who was sick & not eating for 3 days. Other vets were too busy to see her right away. She was 100% better within 48 hrs. Thank you!

Employees ignore customers also very expensive services then you need to bother them all the time for your pet results and for your pet to be seen at the time of appt never going there again wouldn’t recommend this place small plus crowded

Just want to give a shout-out to Mikaela the vet tech. I picked up two dogs recently who had a dental. One of them was still waking up a little from the anesthesia so I had to carry him. I was by myself and Mikaela kindly helped me walk the other one to the car and buckle them in.

She was super compassionate and friendly toward me and the dogs. Thank you Mikaela!

Great staff and amazing service. Very helpful and not in it for just the money type feel. Came once on recommendation and loved it and never looked back at our old vets! Thank you for the amazing service

Doctor is incompetent. We rescued a stray cat and bring her to the hospital. The doctor examined her and told us she is 3 or 4 years old. After a month while we talk to the neighbors we found out she is actually more than 10years old. This bring the doctor's credibility to zero. Will need to give my cat's a physical check somewhere else.

Brought in a stray from work. They were able to scan it to try and find the owner and took her for the community cremation.

Everyone here is so very kind, and willing to go the extra mile to help the little fur babies.

The workers are always trying to help, yes sometimes they get busy, but put yourself in their shoes trying to help each innocent animal even if they have to squeeze you in they do fantastic work, and get you in and out as quickly as they can. Very informative and know what there doing. Coco and Madison and the Garcias appreciate you️

So the reason why I gave you a one star is because my French Bulldog needed a C-section and I called right at opening hours and the receptionist could not answer any of my questions being very rude when I was asking her questions and was telling me to call back when the veterinarian came in overall it was not the veterinarian it was the staff there that was rude disrespectful and felt no sympathy or concern for my dog

I took my pet to the vet for euthanasia. They said even though they knew his condition but they still needed to charge me for examination. I felt like that was okay since maybe they would let me know other information. However, they just told me to wait at the room and took away my pet. I thought the doctor might came to see me or something. I had NO idea that they were going to euthanize my pet at that moment. After a few minutes they gave my pet back and at that time he had already passed.
Also, since my pet had been lying with the same position for a while so he had one side of body that looked more decent and another side looked just not as good. When they handed me back my pet, he was on the not-so-pretty side. I definitely felt that they were not treating my baby the way I thought they should be. I felt so sad and I didn't feel they treated animals and their owners with the respect I was hoping for. Why didn't they just told me they were going to euthanize my pet? Instead, they just told me to wait. What do you mean by "wait" when you charged me examination fee? I expected someone would show up to let me know something so I paid for the examination fee. However, I DIDN'T hear A SINGLE THING from the doctor. Horrible experience.
Will NOT recommend here to anyone who loves their pets. You can tell how unmindful they are from these little details. I should have brought my baby to another place for his last moment. I feel so sorry for him.
